As a student of Commercial Cookery, I catered for the Mayoral Breakfast. The whole venue has started to show its age. The Mayoral Breakfast was a great success with glowing reports from All.

Was here for a high school graduation meal. What I was able to eat was very nice. Suffering IBS, there wasn't much on the menu provided that I could eat. A simple fish and chips would have been great.

I almost always give 5 stars, but on this occasion I just cant. The food was good and the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful at a function.i attended. But the reason for the 3 Sara was because I had a little attitude from a senior staff member when I asked her to double check if a product was gluten free. I only asked twice because I was informed by the manager that everything on the buffet was gluten free except the bread, when in fact, the veges had white sauce all over and the lasagne obviously wasn't. Luckily I had enough sense to work it out myself. But I was still quite surprised by the reaction of this staff member when I asked if she was sure the cheesecake base was gluten free. As a coeliac, it never hurts to double check.

The place was very lovely, and the food very good, but they have a guard which is really rude, and he pushed me around even though I am a mother, without excuse when trying to approach two young lads on the dancing floor..

What we love about Rumours is the size! It’s HUGE with plenty of off street parking! Jim and his team have been doing functions over many years so everything runs smoothly.
