Asked Google for "best fish and chips in Hervey Bay", and it didn't disappoint. Very tasty whiting and chips, freshly cooked with pride.

Owners were friendly and recommended the fisherman's park as a nice, shady spot to eat our lunch. Another good choice.

Had 3 meals out in Urangen, all costing $100 and more but our most enjoyable was my gluten free battered fish and chips from Hendo's for $22 for 2 serves. Batter was lovely and so were the chips. Sometimes you don't need a fancy restaurant who don't even offer gf sides to go with their mains 🤷‍♀️
