I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Beauty Base for a facial, courtesy of a voucher I received. From the moment I walked in, I was treated to a lovely pampering experience. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, and the staff were incredibly professional and friendly.

During my appointment Amy provided fantastic advice tailored to my skin type and concerns. I ended up purchasing some recommended products, and I have to say, I absolutely love them. My skin has never felt better!

I am already looking forward to booking my next appointment. If you're looking for a place that offers quality skincare services and excellent customer care, I highly recommend The Beauty Base.

Every experience I've had a the Beauty Base whether at Narellan and now Gregory Hills has been sensational. Today I had a Platinum Facial with Caterina at the Gregory Hills Salon and I enjoyed every minute of it. The whole experience was rejuvenating and so relaxing. The massage Caterina gave me was the best I've ever had.
I can honestly say that all the Therapists that have looked after me over the years have been excellent at what they do.

I got the Luxury Platinum facial and did not have a good experience. I have been twice now and my first time was excellent. I treat myself around 3 times a year to a facial and this time was definitely a miss. I believe is may be due to the inexperience of the staff.

Some things that I loved:
- The staff were kind
- Face massage was very nice
- Arm and hand massage was good.
This is the standard that you should get at any spa. I am sure the therapist did her best with the attention she did give to my face.

Some things I really disliked:
- Scalp massage (the beauty therapist was wearing plastic gloves for this component and it constantly caught on my hair and made the entire massage really painful). I could not wait until this bit was finished.
- No shoulder or neck massage. I am not sure if this is included but I would have loved this since I was very tense most of the time. I believe I got this service last time.
- Products kept getting in my eyes even though they were closed. I have never experienced this at any spa! I did not know when to squeeze my eyes tightly shut when she was rubbing any products in. Normally, they avoid the eyes so this was highly unusual for me. I ended up walking away with terrible eye irritation in one eye due to the products in it.
- Tweezers (I think) to pop pimples - this was also very uncomfortable. I could feel two pointy bits that the therapist was using to force any congestion out.
- $25 for a simple lip mask - definitely not worth it, don't recommend it at all.
- The overall sensory experience - I could not relax at any moment. This was due to many factors that include: the therapist was wiping excess products on her hands on the towels near my ears that my head was on; the constant bustling of packaging; a bright yellow light in my peripheral vision; and, mouth breathing on my face when the therapist was using what felt like the tweezers because she had to get up close.

Some extra training for the staff would be excellent to fix these small issues that together built up in my 1 hour treatment made it difficult to endure.

I would go back in 6 months to try again since I loved it the first time but I would not get the lip mask.

I have been gong to the beauty base for the past 6 years. I go out of my way to go here because no matter who I see they are always consistently good and pay attention to detail. Marcella is definitely the stand out for me though as she always does my brows perfectly. The beauty base has high quality staff, services and products.

She was SO lovely and even ensured that she used wax for sensitive skin when I said my face gets red after I wax.

She genuinely did the BEST wax & tint I’ve ever gotten.

Will definitely be back next time to see her ?

I have been a client with the Beauty Base for well over 15 years. The service is exceptional, from the moment you arrive and are welcomed to the time you depart. I had a deluxe facial this particular visit, the atmosphere in the spa is relaxed and inviting. My skin felt rejuvenated and the experience was delightful with the aroma of the products used. I will continue to visit as it’s like visiting old friends.
