First time at this pub and it will be the last time. Waited in a queue of 10 people for 20 plus minutes. Put in an order for a steak sandwich and a on alcoholic drink, and asked to not have the egg, cheese and two of the 3 sauces they put on the sandwich, but still charged the full amount. My friend ordered a plate of vegetables that were sitting in a bain-marie and garlic bread and a non alcoholic drink, We then waited over 45 mins for the food. Terrible service, okay food, definitely not worth the money.

Very disappointed to go to the Pioneer Arms hotel on Monday and find that it was closed for lunch. Couldn't find anything on their website advising of this.

We don’t often eat out. We can usually do better cheaper at home. We decided to go for a drive and stopped in at the Pioneer Arms. Our meals were: a Gluten Free Chicken Mignon, a Steak Sandwich and a Senior’s meal BLT. They were all outstanding meals, and more than enough for each of us.
It was great to go out to a dog friendly environment and have a top class meal at a very reasonable price.
