We were so excited to try Myrtille after many recommendations over the last couple of years. The valentines night prix fixe seemed like the perfect opportunity to sample their menu; a chef curated experience to showcase well executed meals on a busy night.

The good: both pasta dishes (gnudi, penne), bistro atmosphere, friendly staff, good quality ingredients

The bad: overcooked tough bistecca/steak, watery poached pear, tasteless side salad leaves, poor service with long wait times from frazzled staff

It was an underwhelming and disappointing experience; I almost think something had gone wrong in the background or it was just a bad night for it to fall so short of others’ recommendations. If I was already in Crows Nest, I would try à la carte at a lunch sitting but would not make the 45min night drive from Toowoomba again.

TLDR: underwhelming dining destination.

A true gem in the countryside. We drive an hour for lunch to celebrate a 50th and WOW!!! The cuisine, service and ambience was 5 star. We didn’t expect the Japanese influence with French, but it was surprisingly excellent. Here are a few photos that illustrate our afternoon experience. Thanks team … perfection 🙏🏼

We had the best breakfast at Myrtille. It was like a beautiful french dream. Stunning decor & atmosphere & amazing menu which made it hard to choose. We’ll just have to come back again & again. Thoroughly worth the drive from Brissie. The pattisserie next door is incredible as well!

The best food we have experienced in the last 12 months. Best customer service, went above and beyond. Sublime food, full of flavour and not the usual stuff, class. Nice cold drinks, great variety. Atmosphere was alittle crowded space wise but everything else well outweighed this. Can't commit on desserts, could not fit them in, however if i could i would have. AMAZING. 🥂🍻💞

We visited today and had the most delicious fish and chips I can remember eating, add to that the wonderful Arancini, delightful Rose' and topped off with excellent customer service delivered by Caleb and it all adds up to a lovely afternoon.
This is how to run a business. Good food and great customer service. What a lovely server Caleb was, so refreshing to experience. All the stars 🌟 we can't wait to go back.

We had a 5 course champagne degustation lunch at Myrtille to see out 2023. The food was outstanding.
The use of locally sourced produce in all the dishes was a highlight as was the attention to detail in the presentation and in the service.
It's my favourite restaurant in South East Queensland.

Had an amazing dinner experience, food was amazing and customer service was excellent. The owner found out it was our wedding anniversary and brought out a cupcake with a sparkler in it as a surprise!!
