The food scene in the High Country Hamlets is exploding with delicious creations, and Lily’s Artisan are one of the latest to join the growing list of producers. Located in Crow’s Nest, they’re offering up freshly baked breads, pasta, condiments, pastries and coffee. We couldn’t go past the passionfruit choux pastries made using chocolate from Metiisto chocolate, or the raspberry vanilla bean tarts topped with plump locally sourced heritage raspberries. If you’re based in Toowoomba, it’s well worth the drive.

What an amazing spot, we had a sausage roll, beef bacon and cheese pie and a blueberry tart and everything was delicious! We were also able to sit with our dogs in the courtyard! We will be back again!

I recently visited and had an amazing experience. The store and food were incredible. I couldn’t help but notice the young blonde worker. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every customer felt welcome and well taken care of. Her positive attitude added to the experience. She was efficient and knowledgeable about the products and offered great recommendations. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing the wonderful service.

I was lucky to grab a jar of their queen garnet plum jam at the Toowoomba Saturday markets which was incredible.

Have been able to make it in store and try their pastries, of which the pear frangipane tart is easily the best frangipane tarts I’ve had, with one of the best textured short crust pastries I’ve had the delight of eating.

All in all a huge fan and can’t wait to bring friends along to share more pastries.

It was a pleasure to stop in and grab a few things from Lily's while passing through Crows Nest yesterday. The Pork & Fennel sausage roll was amazing!! The Apple crumble tart was delicious and I loved the locally made Ginger Beer. I'm looking forward to tasting the mango chutney and Tomato and Chilli jam. The staff are incredibly friendly and we will definitely be back.

A good selection of homestyle cakes and pastries and nice coffee. Also a nice selection of local jams, soft drinks and other treats. Very nice staff. Please consider serving coffee in cups as opposed to disposable containers.

We came here for the first time ever today and ordered a chicken bacon and mustard pie (really yummy and did not skimp on the chicken filling) preferred it to the beef pie with bacon we ordered but both were good. Also ordered a spiced apple eclair and a lemon meringue tart. Both were delicious, the pastry incredible. The lemon tart was my favourite. The zesty lemon filling contrasting with the beautiful crumbly tart shell and neither sickly sweet. Arguably the best one I’ve ever eaten. The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t see prices on anything. I would have felt more comfortable buying more if I could see the prices and not having to ask. The only reason I dropped a star on atmosphere. Staff were lovely and helpful though and went through all the dessert pastries with me.
