Excellent Beach front location. I liked the 2 pools and jacuzzi, and the shops and restaurants downstairs on street level. I came prepared for the noise but luckily had a 1 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor.||The apartment was clean with a full kitchen and ducted air conditioning. We spent some time watching the free movies on foxtel.||The resort is one street back from Bulcock Street which hosts the Sunday morning markets. Staff were amazing when we arrived as due to the traffic we were arriving late and there was the possibility of requiring an after hours check in. This is a great place to relax!||

Love staying at Rumba! This is our second visit this year for our family. Rumba offers everything a busy family needs for a fun filled holiday! The accommodation is clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly, approachable and genuinely want to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. The location is perfect, walking distance to the big waves at Kings Beach and across the road from the family friendly, Bulcock Beach. There are so many delicious dining options just down stairs! The pools are also fantastic and the bar and restaurant cater for a relaxing afternoon by the pool and easy dinner. We love it and have decided to make Rumba our regular family holiday destination.

I stayed with family 7 nights in two apartments at Rumba Berach Resort. We found the apartments comfortable and clean and appreciated the daily service from friendly staff. We had everything we needed to make our stay carefree and enjoyable. The close proximity of the apartment to the beach across the road and restaurants down stairs, including the Rumba gelati and the nightly entertainment at the Drift bar / restaurant and local shops and supermarket was an added bonus. We enjoyed the beachfront across the road with view of Bribie island. There are plenty of bench seats along the beachfront board walk, to sit and rest when needed or simply to enjoy the views. I would like to express our gratitude to the Rumba friendly and attentive staff for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I was impressed by the fact that Rumba resort has ramps and lifts, making the resort accessible to people in wheelchairs or simply with knee and hip issues and parents with prams.

We've been enjoying staying at Rumba for the past 10 years. We've never had a bad experience. Super hotel, super location, great apartments and incredible views. 2 pools and a heated large spa are always a hit. Staff always go out of their way to help. Thanks Rumba shall book our next stay soon for sure! So much more chill and a little quieter than some of the other Sunshine Coast towns. Love Caloundra.

Thus far great views, adequate space for up to 4 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment for up to a week. However, on checking in yesterday the staff were closing up the screens in the lobby before the as advertised 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon and otherwise My Mum and sister would have had to call the outside hours number to actually check in. When you state that check in is before 3 PM and you arrive before that time and the staff are pulling down the shutters on the check in counter that's not very welcoming, so perhaps consideration for the time of year might need to be something that management must think seriously about.

The resort was excellent- awesome views from our ocean view room, great location, friendly staff, fantastic pools, well furnished rooms. However the noise from the bar underneath our unit could be heard until 11 both Friday and Saturday night- not good for a room booked for 2 adults and 2 children. We had a great weekend but didn’t come back rested due to lack of sleep- especially the children. I was disappointed in the response from management after letting them know after checkout- the response was they will let the bar know.

We've stayed at the Rumba several times now. It never fails to be a great place to stay. We always book a two bedroom premium apartment. The standards of furniture, decoration and kitchen are first class. We have always found the reception staff and ladies servicing the apartments extremely welcoming and courteous. Stayed Nov 2024 in unit 314, a 3 bedroom apartment (non updated) on Level 3, building C on the Esplanade.
Lovely resort. Fairly well appointed kitchen. Beautiful large corner balcony though some units like 315 have smaller balconies/terraces with walls on both sides.
The resort IS accessible with a wheelchair or pram so long as you look for the ramps. Each tower A, B and C has its own lift. To move between the restaurant/street level (B1) up to the pools and reception (1) there is both a big staircase and a lift via the passageway between Hogs Breath and the Coffee Club which was great for grandparents and prams.
The bar have complimentary muffins and percolated coffee available 7-10am in the mornings which is a lovely touch. Happy hours runs 4-6pm every day which is $16 cocktails (instead of $20) and a couple dollars off beers (tap or bottles). No apparent happy hour prices for wine. Mocktail list too and offers some hot food like spring rolls, crumbed prawns, wedges and chips.
2 separate pools and a spa on site. Can’t beat location to beach immediately across the road, 5-6 restaurants and gelato underneath and Main Street of Caloundra just around the corner!
