A beautiful golf course. It was a shame that my golf was pretty ugly that day! Quite a challenging course with quite a lot of undulation across fairways and greens. Would love to play it again. If it's a hot day, make sure you take plenty of water with you as there are no bubblers (or refill stations) out on course.
The cafe opens early so you can grab your cuppa before you play. Afterwards, the bistro/bar serves up some great food.

Lunched at Windaroo GC Friday 31st Jan 25 8 people....went back Thurs 6th Feb 10 people for a Birthday Party. So impressed with the service from the Bar staff, the meals were outstanding & reasonably priced. Very friendly club with a good atmosphere.

The best meeting place for a coffee or drink. Sit on the verandah and enjoy the fantastic view of golf course. Meals are really good and reasonable prices

Beautiful view, wonderful food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because parking was a little scarce due to the many golfers taking advantage of the sunny conditions. I would recommend this venue

We attended Windaroo Lakes Golf Club, for a birthday dinner last Tuesday.
The atmosphere was lovely, not too loud, despite there being another large, multiple person's birthday dinners at the same time (which was absolutely beautiful, as each birthday persons cake came out, all the tables joined in singing happy birthday - it made for such a great experience and vibe. ) The service was exceptional from both the dining and bar staff; quick, and friendly, with the dining staff coming back to check how the meal was going and built a lovely rapport with our party.
I had the prawn spring rolls to start, which were CHOCK FULL of prawns (having been disappointed at other restaurants before, by spring rolls with hardly any filling, I ordered another serving - haha) .
For mains I had the beef cheeks, which were moist and melt in your mouth, with buttery mash and greens (Delish!) My hubby, who is currently on the carnivore diet, had a rib eye on the bone (cooked medium rare) and 3 fried eggs on top, which he made very short work of 😊 and the others in our party, enjoyed pizza, steaks, with my friend advising the Pork belly salad was an absolute stand out! The prices were mid-range and very reasonable!
We had heard that Windaroo lakes, had a lovely community vibe, and excellent food and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more! Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a night at Windaroo Lakes Gold club

We were there for an 80th birthday in a private room. And it was lovely. Fingerboard was served and then left at table for easy access. A lovely time was had by all.
