Location Great and met my needs
Service was great and that's where the positive stops

Rooms are dated and nothing like photos

Shower is horrible you get more pressure from a garden hos

Noise at night from up stairs rooms and people stomping around

No Microwave in room bit of a inconvenience to have to walk to the end laundry room to use a microwave

Sadly won't stay here again

Suggestion of door snake or weather strip on bottom of door to block out the outside lights

I booked Bay Air at the beginning of November through hotels dot com dot au, to be payable at the hotel(on arrival).||Unfortunately when I arrived I was advised my booking had been cancelled. The reception advised this was because they had attempted to take payment the day prior and as it did not process, my reservation was cancelled. No call, no cancellation email.||Initially, I left annoyed using certain expletives to describe the process, but stating I understood it not to be the hotels fault at the time.||||Upon interrogation, no attempt to charge my card should have been made, as it was clearly payable at the hotel only. As it was a busy weekend, no other accommodation was accessible.||||I should make it clear that this review is not of the facilities, but of the process that left me high and dry.||||Unfortunately if you do book to pay at the hotel....probably call ahead to confirm you'll be there.

Rooms are clean,but sadly it’s one of those places where you come last in any priority.No toaster,you cannot do anything in this place,no microwave to heat anything.Not even a bbq at the pool.
Internet is appalling and as expected there is nothing done about it to fix it.They will say oh the owner is coming,well that didn’t make a difference,just being fobbed off,one of my pet hates.,,Its a popular place guess people here are used to sub par.

From what I’ve been told this place is due to close and be replaced with apartments. You can tell! Ive stayed in backpackers that were far superior. It’s a very basic motel and over priced for what it is. We had the two bedroom unit. Literally that’s all it is. Nowhere to sit and relax just a place to rest your head for the night. If that’s what you’re a looking for then go for it. In saying that the staff were lovely and having the RSL behind it was very convenient.

Terrific spot handy location we loved our stay very helpful. Accessible room was great .Only thing was no handy power points for wheelchair charging.But would recommend.

Close to shops , however the cups in the fridge for water were filthy, the mirror was dirty, the beds and pillows are uncomfortable .
Only good thing I found about this hotel was the showers.

A wonderful place to stay. Clean comfortable and convenient to facilities. Room was warm and comfortable on those cold July winter nights, Plus we had the ease of access room for a guest with mobility issues. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at Bay Air Motel on two separate nights, one week apart. On both occasions I was very warmly welcomed by Kerry & his staff. ||The rooms were clean, bright & airy and the beds extremely comfortable. I highly recommend a stay at Bay Air Motel if you are in the area.
