It is a more permanent style of accommodation, it's not quite what it seems however I always felt safe and respected I found staff to be helpful and understanding. I m grateful for my time their and feeling comfortable. All the best and keep up the good work. A shout out to the female reception staff.

Location is awesome for family friendly events however, the renovations cause safety issues, the mess around is not cleaned up, no kitchen equipment in the rooms, air con not serviced, bed was way too hard, dry wall exposed, pest control not done, pool not maintained, guests mark items with personal information, no sitting table and chairs to eat at. No cooking facilities. Fridge is kept well. No spare blankets. Mould in the rooms.

I'll start with positives, which were great - check-in, location, room cleanliness, shower pressure and soaps, bedding, mini-bar prices - top notch.

Negative - (my partner booked the room). From when we parked the car til leaving, we were very uneasy. We quickly realised this was a facility for perhaps emergency accommodation. We arrived to a rowdy bunch in the pool, on the balcony above, and another group under a carport.

A door opened as we found ours, and the smell from that room nearly knocked us over. Not sure if it was tobacco or more, but wow, for a non-smoking room.

There was super loud music as we walked to our room and when we later returned. Blobs of blood in the stairwell, small, but easily noticeable on the day.

We decided, that we were that uneasy, that we moved our car away from the hotel. We also want to acknowledge that some guests wished us happy new year, while another was quite scary with the"look" he gave us.

Also want to acknowledge, that as we left, there was a young fellow in reception, and this lovely, bright lady was asking if he'd had a meal and was being very compassionate.

In short, I understand and apppreciate the service and support that is being offered by this hotel, however, wish we had known it was also support accommodation, as we would have potentially either been prepared, or had the opportunity to research other venues. I think about my 80 yr old aunt that stays in that area sometimes, and how she would feel. I appreciate the community support that is being given, but also think some transparency is required.

Room was large, new carpet, tidy- Half renovated. Bathroom tired and grout grotty, dodgy light switch. We were there 3 nights, room was tidied once. Average state of room could cope with as wasn't dirty and staff were friendly. However, there are what appears to be more permanent residents in the rooms. There are 2 tables set up in the carpark that they sit and smoke and drink at, starting at 5am, clearly heard from nearby rooms. It isn't a good look for a place of business attracting travellers and tourists. Probably would not stay again, didn't like the vibe those residents gave the place.

Do not stay here !
Place has stains over carpet holes in doors covered up with stickers and stinks of smokers.

This is my second time staying here (not by choice) work books the rooms for us. And I have now officially refused to travel to QLD if this is the accomodation we are provided.

No housekeeping the first day and had to ask if someone could sort my room, when I got back all they had done was placed a towel on a chair for me. Beds weren’t made rubbish wasn’t removed.

Very noisy place as well always people somewhat partying and making noise to very late.

Aircon filters were filthy ! Don’t look like they have ever been cleaned. Shower was leaking

Back fire escape is constantly left open by people allowing access to strangers to your floor. Staircase was full of urine when I went to leave on my first morning.

Place has not changed or been updated from my first visit in Nov - 2022 to my most recent visit now Nov - 2024.

Owners should be ashamed of them selves. Doesn’t look like a single cent is spent on this place and I think that’s evident by them covering holes in doors with stickers and stinks!

Don’t stay here, especially if you are alone or have a family. There is some very unsavoury people living there, visiting there and wandering around at all hours. The reception/manager does not have a good manner and they lock the doors to the reception area. Whole place smells very damp and mouldy. Rooms are very old and not looked after. I had cockroaches in my room and some of the electrical points do not work. Water and mould damage on walls.

Rooms are spacious and clean but very old and need updating. Also many what seems like poor/homeless poeple living here permanently which is not a good look or feel as they sit around in the carpark smoking all day

Great location, rooms okay. Waited 30 minutes at reception to check-in. Had to call the emergency onsite manager number to get checked in and sorted. Not overly impressed.
