Beachside Tower - Main Beach, Queensland

Stayed 26-31 December 24 with the family. From the moment I arrived I had issues with our accommodation. The issues were as follows:
- Upon opening our door we had a fire alarm continually beeping. It took 4 hours for maintenance staff to resolve.
- The sink was 90% clogged it took 5 minutes for the water to drain from it.
- The main beds shower head would fall out if it was so much as touched as the mount for it was broken and would totally fall apart bringing the shower head down on your head. I had to put it back together many times.
- none of the balcony door locks function properly. With little kids this presents a major issue as the balconies are 1m wide and have seats kids could easily climb and get over the balustrade.
- air con in our apartment would turn on , work for 5 minutes and turn itself off. The issue was persistent even after reading the manuel and removing any possible timers and clearly faulty. We had no air-conditioning for the entirety of the stay.

My wife wrote an email to management highlighting our issues with the accommodation. Nothing was offered for our inconvenience and no response was given to the email.

Needless to say the location is great the service and facility are a joke. Don't let the superficial renovation picture fool you this building is poorly maintained for the premium they charge.

Location is perfect, right on the beach but close to really good restaurants, close to the trams if you want to venture all over the GC.

Spacious enough for our family of 4, it was perfect for our trip.

Excellent value for money. My family of 5 stayed here for a four day dose of themeparks and Gold Coast action. The managers, Barry and Jane were easy and lovely to deal with. The 3 bedroom apartment is clean and comfortable and offers all that you need for a family. Secure underground parking was included. And being right on the beach is just magic, you don't even need to cross the road to feel the sand between your toes. The pool has a great shallow section for kids. The balcony offers million dollar beach views of the roaring pacific ocean. ⛱️ Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed on the 10th floor and our balcony was overlooking Main Beach. I loved it so much I could have spent our whole week in our apartment. The apartment was lovely, clean, very well set out, with everything you could ask for and a very well equipped kitchen, but we didn't do much cooking! Secure underground parking was great but required about a 5 point reverse park. That didn't bother me. I love a challenge. The views from our apartment were to die for. I could express how much I loved this place. I would have liked to leave the sliding doors open all night so I could listen to the surf all night but I didn't feel the balcony was secure enough for that. A security door would be great. Loved it. Recommend it.

We stayed at the Beachside Tower for 4 nights. The location was perfect and just what we were looking for. We could have stayed in the apartment the whole time, because the view is AMAZING! Great it has a kitchen and equipment so we didn't have to spend money out each meal. Barry the manager was great and literally came to help out if you needed it, he was a great person to have a chat with also and you should ask him for recommendations on places to go, he recommended Thyme for breakfast and it was GREAT! We will be back!

We had Unit 16A for 6 nights. This building is not new and certainly dated but every unit in this building has a wonderful view and the location is 10/10 for beach access and proximity to eateries, coffee places, 7 eleven, parks and walkways. However perhaps because of the location, whoever is responsible, feels it is not important to present clean and comfortable units. The layout of our two bedroom unit was good but it certainly wasn’t very clean. It needed a good scrub and clean and small things replaced or repaired. The only chaise lounge was busted, door handles missing, hinges loose on kitchen cupboards, dryer sounds as if it has something major wrong with it. Toilet paper roll holders broken. Towel rail in en-suite broken. Mattress protector on bed made one wake up in a lather of sweat and didn’t look clean. ||We arrived to find the manager Barry on site who was helpful and welcoming but that was the only time we sighted anyone in reception. It seems to be closed 24/7. So ... although it says it has a help desk this is not really correct. ||I know every unit is different and perhaps it we stay again we may get a cleaner better unit but how do you know? ||I realise that possibly many of these units are owned by people who never stay in it themselves but surely the managers should make sure repairs are carried out? The cleaners must notice if things are broken? These units are not cheap so should be better presented.

We stayed here for a single night (never cheap in Main Beach) in a two bedroom unit on the 6th floor. The view and placement directly on the beach makes for a stunning view and provides the sounds of the waves to go to sleep to: it is stunning with the wrap-a-round patio. But for the price, we thought they could have left us some milk in the fridge and small comforts, and the decor/fixtures were old (some windows don't open because they've welded shut). The management were effective and left the key out for us, all was easy to navigate. We had a fantastic night because of the view-the kids loved being right on the beach, but it was a one-off. Overpriced for an aging set of apartments.

Great location, right on the beach. Our one bedroom apartment was very dated ,needs a lot of work. No towel rail , no toilet roll holder. Only one bedside lamp. Kitchen needs a LOT of work. We still a good time .
