We stayed for three nights in January at the Peppers Beach Club. This time of year is the low season for Port Douglas and we got a good rate on the room. We really enjoyed out stay.||There is free parking for guests and the location is good as it is a flat walk into the town of Port Douglas with all of the shops and restaurants, including a full supermarket.||The hotel is modern and fresh. It is called a 'beach club'' but it is not a large style resort that the name might imply. Instead it is two blocks of rooms and apartments on either side of a pool that is made to look like a lagoon. You can see from the pictures the layout of the hotel Although the hotel was nice - it was smaller than we expected and meant that many of the facilities that come with a five star rating were missing. ||We had no complaints about our room - it was clean and exactly as described and all of the features you would expect. The bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was good.||There was only one restaurant at the hotel and this also doubled as the poolside bar. The breakfast served at this restaurant was high quality but the options were a bit limited reflecting the scale of the hotel. The menu was the same for lunch and dinner and was a bit basic - it was fine for a casual poolside lunch with some drinks but I wouldn't really recommend it for dinner.||The gym was a real let down. It was clearly designed by someone who has never used a gym. It had a few pieces of cardio equipment, a lateral pull-down machine and some weights that would be more suited as paper weights on a desk rather than in a gym for exercise. ||On the whole, we enjoyed our stay. Port Douglas is a wonderful place to visit.

We chose this resort primarily for its stunning lagoon pool, and it exceeded our expectations! The rooms were equally impressive—we opted for two adjoining rooms, including a spa room and a penthouse. The setup gave us access to a spacious kitchen, which we didn’t necessarily need for cooking but appreciated for the extra room to relax. We did, however, make good use of the barbecue a couple of times!

The rooms themselves were beautiful, with high ceilings and lovely views. The resort’s amenities were equally fantastic—the gym was well-equipped, and the pool bar and restaurant were both excellent. The staff were warm, accommodating, and consistently helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The entire resort was impeccably maintained, and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

First time staying at this resort. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and clean. Spa on the balcony overlooking the beautification beach/lagoon style pool. Buffet Breakfast was outstanding. Located right in the centre of town, but quiet and relaxing. Will stay here again for sure. Well done staff

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was very nice with towels and toys provided. Breakfast was really good every day with lots of fresh fruit and eggs made to order. Beach is literally about a block away and absolutely beautiful. Couple things to note: not all buildings have elevators and you’ll have to take stairs to your room, so if your preference isn’t to carry luggage up three flights or go up and down them daily, be sure to make that known when booking. Also, menu for lunch/dinner is limited to only a couple items and they’re all Asian based, so plan accordingly. Main area where restaurants are is only a few blocks away, so just know you’ll be walking to eat for those meals. Highly recommend Tin Shed, Zinc, and Salsa to eat and Wicked Ice Cream for dessert!

My teenage son and I had lovely time at Peppers!|We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on level 3 and found this apartment both private and comfortable. The apartment was both fully equipped with everything a family needs for a longer stay, along with the bbq on the front balcony which came in very handy, plus had a fantastic view on the lagoon pool. |Breakfast was fantastic, the poolside menu and cocktails were also delicious. |Staff were all very helpful and customer service was spot on. |The location of the resort is very central, only a short walk to the beach and Main Street making it very easy to walk to dinner on the nights we decided to eat out. |This resort is very family friendly so lots of young kids playing and splashing about, although the resort staff did intervene when the noise got too loud to make sure all guests were happy and relaxed! |Gym is slightly under equipped with only smaller weights which was the only negative for my 19 year old son that loves to workout each day, but the location of the resort made it easy to walk the National park every morning instead! |We will definitely be staying again when we return to Port Douglas.

We spent three nights at Peppers Beach Club and would highly recommend it. The staff was personable and friendly; the rooms were clean and the pool was beautiful. The highlight for us was the location…it was easy to walk downtown for restaurants and shopping, as well as to the 4 mile beach walking trail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beach Club. Our only criticism was the cleanliness- more specifically with the bedding. On two occasions we requested our bedding to be changed as mold was found on one set of sheets (maybe due to the climate/ humidity), and red stains (food or blood, neither is preferred) on another set. Diligence is needed from house keeping in ensuring bedding is clean when refreshing bedsheets.

The staff were quick to rectify both issues happily. The concierge team were always so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The pool area was lovely and well kept.

The location was great and walking distance into Port Douglas Main Street for so many choices for dining.

Beautiful resort.
Friendly and accomodating staff.
Our Deluxe Lagoon Suite was amazing, pricey but large and luxurious.
Overall we had a wonderful experience.
If I was to make some recommendations for the cost paid per night, we found the swimming pool temperature too warm. Would have been nicer if it was cooler, it was like getting into a warm bath. Which such high humidity the pool temp should be cooler. Perhaps put some shade sails over the pool to keep the temp down.
I also recommend that another step is added to the pontoon, as it is hard to step down onto the pool ledge and even harder trying to get back up onto the pontoon.
