stayed with the Mantra mid-town for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the great location, beautiful front desk staff and comfort of the room. I was upgraded on arrival due to my Accor Plus membership and couldnt have been happier with the room size and amenities. I used the on site gym which was well appointed and had a very comfortable rest.

Though the location is very good in the middle of the city, the hotel itself was below standard. The unit I had had no blinds, just white see through curtains. No privacy at all, and sun light fills the unit from very early in the morning. Asked the reception, and was told nothing can done. No cleaning service. Stayed one week, no room service. Requested late checkout due night flight, and being a GOLD ACCOR member ( though was advertised late checkout for members till 2pm), was told not possible, max by 12pm.
Overall will not recommend it to anyone and will never stay there again.

Zachery and Dion on the front desk provided service 'above and beyond' exceptional. Help with luggage and locations saved us heaps of time on a very tight writing schedule. We chjoose a 2-bedroom to use the 2nd for equipment holding, and the apartment was compactr, clean and afforded a nice balcony view towards the 'London Eye' part of town. Parking has alwaays been a challenge for us, but with the underground parking provided we were free to enter and exit as we needed with the room key fob. Clean and well-located. Well done on the part of the staff and team.

Man on the front desk was well presented, happy and helpful. Pretty good location in the middle of town. I was on the 6th floor, not much of a view even from the balcony, but was nice to have a little balcony. I imagine higher up floors would enjoy a decent view.

I love staying at Mantra Midtown because they always make an extra effort. A staff member called me a few days before my stay to see if I needed a carpark and if I needed anything else organised during my stay. There was a personalised handwritten card in my room with a welcome gift of water, juice and snacks. The Duty Manager Zac welcomed me with a smile and looked after me during my three day stay for work. I spoke with Zac to tell him that my room did not have a hairdryer, and he personally delivered a brand new one to my room within 10 minutes. I had trouble with the smart TV in my room and he organised for that to be solved while I was out. Thank you very much Zac and other staff.

I booked myself and a friend a 4 night package including flights with Jetstar.
We arrived at the Mantra on Saturday night. We were given a one bedroom apartment (I thought I had booked a two bedroom apartment). False advertising on Jetstar's behalf.
I contacted reception to try to understand why we had been given a one bedroom. There was a couch I asked the reception staff to open it as a sofa bed for us. They wouldn't allow this. They wanted to charge us $300 for one night for a 2 bedroom apartment. I asked to speak to the manager on the Saturday & Sunday no assistance. I slept on the couch to make it easier for myself & my friend to try to enjoy our stay in Brisbane.
The apartment it self was not cleaned very well, the shower leaked. I had to ask for extra toilet paper & extra towels.

The best part about the Mantra is it's city location! Close to casino, pubs, shopping!

Really wanted to give an 8 or more as location was really good…. However the following made it a 4 at best.||1) not welcomed as an Accor member|2) no feee welcome drinks as mentioned, just a bottle of water|3) emailed regarding loud music on first two nights that kept my family up all night - respond was they would contact me after my holiday, still no response|4) one of two lifts broken on day one, still not fixed on day 4

Love, love, LOVE staying here. I visit about 6 times a year for work and, it is always great. No matter who is on the front counter, you invariably get a lovely welcome and efficient service. The building is perfectly situated to get anywhere in town and the rooms are lovely. Oh, and the sauna is wet (water on hot rocks) and it is glorious!
