I can see the market this club catered for. Even though I’m not quite the pension crowd that seemed to be the majority, we were welcomed as staff very friendly. Food was decent and portioning large. Some smaller sized items would have been nice. Was prepared and serviced quite quickly. Quite nice and comfortable environment

Vegan food review -
I use to drive across the river specifically for the plant based parmi but after tonight’s experience, honestly I won’t be doing that anymore. This dish use to be a 10/10 but we were very disappointed tonight. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for the plant based option they offer however since the last time i went they have changed this dish to make it more ‘fancy’ which has just resulted in a disappointing and confusing combination of flavours. The pesto they have added to the parmi takes away from the schnitzel experience as a whole and on top of this we got 1 cherry tomato chopped in half for each salad. One salad didn’t even have cucumber yet the other did which seems quite confusing in itself. I wouldn’t recommend the plant based/vegan option as honestly you could make the same food at home taste better and for cheaper. Other than the disappointing changes they have made to the vegan dish it is an alright place to go with lots to do such as trivia and bingo.

My comments is based on the restaurants only. Spacious, neat and clean atmosphere, lots of tables, very well resources. Dishes were served pretty fast, and tables cleaned quite timely. Membership is $5 lifetime plus a free Freedom Fuels discount card. Price is a bit higher than the other clubs. Coffee was on the burnt and smokey side. Big car park at the front but could get busy.

Went out for a birthday dinner with a friend. We ordered a seafood basket. What we got was not certainly not a seafood basket. Seafood was well over cooked and scallops were so minuscule and definitely did not look like scsllops. Managaer of the cafe reluctantly gave us a refund and stated majority of the meal had been eat, when over half was still there. Anyone interested in the seafood basket I would highly recommend choosing something else or even going to the restaurant. We have never had any issues at the restaurant but this was our first and last time ordering from the cafe
