We recently held a celebration of life at the Coolum Beach Hotel and we couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and welcoming venue. From the very beginning, venue Manager Shayne and Bistro Manager Vicki went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference on such an important day.
The staff were absolutely incredible - warm, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for bringing family and friends together to honour our loved one.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Coolum Beach Hotel. Your care and hospitality made a difficult day so much easier, and we are truly grateful.
Highly recommend this venue for any special gathering.

A great friendly pub with great regular music and sporting events.
Love the Origin and especially the Superbowl VIP events.
Highly recommend for a relaxing beer or to catch up with a good of mates.

It was a great Christmas Lunch the staff were amazing the food especially the seafood was top notch & replenished all the time. The drinks package went perfectly with the day. Santa’s visit made it even more special. A few more gluten free desserts would have been nice. Thanks Coolum Beach Hotel best Xmas lunch in many years.

Been to many of the dedicated sports events like Superbowl and the NRL Grand Final.
The team does an outstanding Job, every time we have been the staff have been excellent, facilities are great, and food is always top notch.
I would recommend anyone to go

We loved the food and food staff and young bar guy who is a cocktail expert ,he made us wanna come back ,lovely young man,but we went back on our last day on our trip he wasn't there ,two times and the bar lady very angry older woman very rude argued about the cocktail of the month she got nasty ,then I said ask her boss ,when she released I was right she continued to be rude. Next day ordered it again bar staff didn't know what I was talking about again so another long spell took half hour for a beer! Hubby not happy ,then cocktails were awful undrinkable ,tasted like salt and the pinacalada was awful ,she didn't care would not help ,but yeah a shame as I was ready to give five stars , disappointing,she should have at least replaced one ,we left because of it and didn't buy anything else ,we like it there but now ,not sure,food is nice and it's a nice place,but don't let those few girls spoil the place not replacing a awful cocktail cost you a lot of money ,do better educated your staff.

Location is great, but we did have some issues with entertainment.

The biggest issue we had is we came in to watch the UFC and prior to the main event we are informed all audio will be turned off for the live band. We were told we could go inside but all tables and standing room is full already.

Who puts on a live band during a sports event? Push the band start time back an hour and there’s no issue.

Will be heading elsewhere for events in future unfortunately
