Stayed only for 1 night and next time will stay for more. I couldn't fault it. The host, Paul, really does everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. The house itself is beautiful and accommodation is really well laid out. The views are amazing, it is very peaceful with lots of beautiful birds. The location is great. The Doonan Pub is only about a 5 min drive and is well worth visiting. Paul is also a very good cook and my breakfast was delicious. Very special part of the world.

Well where do I start

When my husband and I arrived we met Paul
He was extremely welcoming and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and have an amazing time

The house was absolutely beautiful stunning and extremely clean

I couldn’t fault anything at

Paul is an absolute legend

He’s very down to earth and goes above and beyond to make your stay an absolute awesome experience

The views were absolutely amazing

Everything was absolutely perfect. Paul was an incredible host as well as the meals he provided at breakfast. Was super clean not far from Noosa when driving. The house is seriously so beautiful with loads of natural light & great views!

This property is just beautiful. In a fantastic spot close to Eumundi and with the most incredible views across the valley to the coast. Paul is a fantastic host and adds so many extra touches to make you feel pampered. The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast is better than we’ve had in 5star hotels, and the bird life and scenery is so calming we didn’t want to leave. Thanks for the perfect start to our holiday 😊

My husband and I stayed for one night a few weeks back and it was the most beautiful night away! The view was killer, I almost cried. I would love to be able to wake up to it every morning. The house was gorgeous and our room was just so lovely and such a good size.||Shaun and Paul were SO lovely!! We felt so comfortable with them and even though they pretty much kept to themselves, they were there if we needed them. The breakfast was bloody fabulous!! It was art, and it was delicious. So much effort went into it just for my husband and I and we felt so spoilt!||Thank you Shaun and Paul for making our very short stay so beautiful and memorable. We will be singing your praises to everyone and we will definitely be back!

We had a short notice night away and it was just perfect at Alexandria Retreat! Thank you to our hosts were who was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was so comfortable and even though its winter we went for a swim in the beautiful pool. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner recommendations from Paul worked out well so a big thank you from us and we will tell our friends and family to book with you!

We spent a remarkable Australia Day weekend at Alexandria Retreat.
Paul was an amazing host, very welcoming and happy to assist. We are grateful for an early check in and a later check out.
We were terribly sorry to miss two of the included breakfast due to our tours schedule as Paul is an excellent cook and our brekky was outstanding!
The view from our room (we had the pool view room) was breathtaking overlooking the Noosa Headlands. Once we have spotted a kangaroo in the backyard!
The pool is super clean and water was warm. Paul also offered the beach towels and even helped to do some urgent washing (avoid rainbow lorikeets flocks))).
Some little remarks. The bed was a little too soft to our preferences. And drive up to the parking with care as there is a steep entrance.
Thank you Paul for our fantastic weekend away! We will definitely come back!

This was a surprise birthday getaway and well and truely exceeded expectations. Brief was somewhere relaxing, away from the chaos of summer tourists. We arrived up the driveway to a gorgeous expansive home with AMAZING views of the valley extending out to the ocean. Separate accommodation meant we felt very private and was gorgeous with lots of lovely little extras. ||Lovely pool, areas to sit and enjoy the view, well located and Paul was such a lovely host (there to help if needed and not when you didn’t). ||Breakfast the next day was out of this world! If I had known I wouldn’t have eaten the night before! Fresh fruit, juices (also cereal and toast options) great coffee and then the cooked breakfast - no words except no need for a meal for the rest of the day!||Will definitely be back, hopefully many times!!!
