Weird experience….
Standing waiting to order under the order here sign…staff continued chatting. Then some time later I was asked if I was OK? If I wanted to order something Ah yes - that’s why I’m here!! Ordered takeaway coffee with no sugar - coffee had sugar added. We were on our way to an appointment in Noosa so didn’t have time to go back and ask for it to be fixed. Nice spot otherwise. Stars are for the Banana Bread because it was delicious!

Usually this is a lovely experience. Today I’m hoping it’s a one off. Firstly the woman taking my order used several inappropriate endearments in speaking with me. Terms like ‘hey lovely’ ‘hon’ etc. if it was coming from a male we’d call it inappropriate. It felt absurd and so insincere. If you want my name ask for it but this sugary insincerity is demeaning for the business and the customer.
Then my order. The beverage needed to be served with the food. I’d finished the food and was heading back to tell them I had to leave and the beverage arrives.

Service and food all out of sync.

Be friendly. Focus on the customer experience and not how you are. Be respectful and not insincere.
Lift your game.
Usually a lovely spot but not today.
Please coach your staff in manners and how to deal and speak with customers in an appropriate manner.

I love this little spot. Good coffee, a few good eats. It's in a bit of a transition at the moment. Space has lost a bit of ambience and personality, plants are gone but some great new staff to keep up the vibe. When the grape regrows it may see It's serenity return.
