Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Aircon (heating) and hot showers made us cosy. Microwave, toaster, iron and board, and extra blankets, hairdryer. We were able to take our electric bikes into our rooms to recharge the batteries overnight. Staff all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room cleaning only if staying for a week. They will change the towels if you ask. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable and the amenities are what you'd expect from a country motel. A little dated, but just fine. The outlook is towards the bush, so it's nice and quite (away from road noise). The staff are very friendly and helpful and a delight to deal with. All amenities in town within walking distance.||||Unfortunately though, I can't recommend this hotel for bike riders on the BVRT. We arrived covered in dirt after a rainy day's ride on the rail trail. Ourselves and our gear were very dirty. But our bikes were clean, as we'd just hosed them off and let them dry. Nevertheless, we were told we couldn't leave the bikes in the room and had to store them in an unlocked shipping container overnight. Kind of strange, seeing as the floors are tile and the walls are speckled brick. My bike was the cleanest thing I owned! To the owners: May I suggest you provide some kind of drop sheet, if you're worried about bikes. Bike riders lover their bikes and don't want to store multi thousand $$$ bikes unsecured.

Stayed at the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail motel on the March 6-8 2021. The motel is situated on the main road into Esk, but we couldn't hear any traffic as the motel is a good distance from the road. The room was sparkling, and the TV and all appliances worked. The bathroom was very clean and hygienic so you can tell that the owners pride themselves on presenting a wonderful stay. BUT the most amazing thing were the comfortable beds and pillows - talk about a restful sleep, a great place to unwind.

As the motel adjoins the Esk Caravan park, we were able to use the two swimming pools and other facilities the caravan park had to offer. The camp kitchen can cater for multiple users, the pergola has with an open fireplace, and we had a singer playing his guitar on Saturday afternoon playing to dozens of folk who loved to dance on the dance floor! The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail motel is one of the best we've stayed in!

When I walked in first time, my first reaction was to have a shower and cool off... I walked into the bathroom and the first thing that catches my eye is the half peeled off roof, then I looked at the toilet and noticed something it wasn't flushed and there were pee marks on the seat. So I just avoided that, went in for my shower and what a suprise the shower curtain and shower head are mouldy as well as the head has little pieces of I don't know what hanging out of it. This motel needs to hire someone to learn how to clean their rooms, as well as think about renovating the place.

A family member and I had completed our second day of the BVRT, and had arrived here fairly tired, and could not find anyone to check in. We eventually found someone, and after a slight trouble with the EFTPOS machine, we checked in and everything went smoothly. The room was nice, fairly clean, and the beds were comfortable, would stay here again if coming through Esk again.

We were fortunate to stay in one of the cabins which was really well appointed with all the comforts of home with better weather. The staff are really great and extremely obliging. There’s a great camp kitchen with an open fire, pizza ovens, stoves etc., this is a great meeting place.|The park is set in a really picturesque location and very well maintained.|Highly recommended

Great Brisbane Valley Rail Trail accommodation option. Motel (and caravan park) located adjacent the trail. Simple, clean and comfortable rooms, typical Queensland ''motel style''. Check in and office located in the caravan park. Plenty of parking for vehicles and bikes.
