We only had 1 night stopover as rail riders on our way along the BVRT (nothing available in Esk), but were made to feel very welcome in this historic homestead. Hearty breakfast served in a Downton Abbey-like dining room!

Myself and eight other Rail Trail riders had a lovely tea/coffee, scones with copious amounts of cream and strawberry jam, a few days ago. Christina was very welcoming and put on a great spread for us! Just what we needed after a 25klm dusty rail trail ride from Esk! It’s vital though to book about five days in advance with numbers and payment is by cash only! But so well worth it!
