We had a lovely experience here. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment, very spacious and well equipped. The place is older but everything was clean and well maintained. Great location in easy walking distance to everything.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage while we went on our Fraser Island trip and the day of final check out, we were allowed a later checkout time by 1 hour. This was much appreciated.
Location is good.
Unfortunately the actual resort is poor value for money. The rooms are in need of a big upgrade. Things look tired and cleanliness could have been better.

Room was ok, bed was uncomfortable with no aircon in bedroom. Kitchen floors were sticky and living room floors were badly stained. Old and tired is probably the best description for this place. Gd location, just a short walk to town or local shops. Reception lady was super nice and helpful. Just disappointed in the quality and condition of the room.

Really friendly staff made for a great visit. The location is perfect with only a very short walk in to town. Rooms were neat and tidy. Signs up for some renovation plans, so looking forward to coming back when completed.

Booked a twin room with a balcony for $250 a night.|‘Balcony’ was a dark outside space. |Disappointing, the room and bathroom were very small, dark and basic for the money spent.|Pool was supposed to be open until 8pm but the lights and pump were switched off early.|In fairness they gave us a 15% discount|It was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable.

Loved our week at Rainbow Sands with our 3 kids. Rooms are decent sized and super clean and well equipped. Resort has everything you need, easy parking and a great, protected pool for when the beach is windy. A 5 minute walk to everything. Lovely team running the resort, and we will definitely be back 🌈

My wife and i enjoyed our 4 night stay at Rainbow Sands Resort.
Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and professional.
The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, you can tell the rooms had been recently refurbished as many things were brand new.

Our rooms included a fully functioning kitchen, private bedroom, private bathroom, common living area and balcony.
We used the outdoor BBQ, the pool was great.
Lots of parking.

Rainbow Sands Resort is a short walk to the beach, many restaurants, and is right next door to a fantastic bakery.
We can highly recommend Rainbow Sands Resort for couples and family's
