We were welcomed to this lovely caravan park by the delightful Jan. She directed us to our newly-renovated cabin, set amongst the trees, in the middle of a large tree-covered area. The cabin felt brand new and bright and breezy. It had everything we needed, including a superbly comfortable bed. We were able to cook our evening meal, and sat outside on the patio, listening to the birds. We checked out next morning, but as we were walking on Finch Bay, we decided we'd like to stay another night, so rang Jan, and yes, we could have our same cabin again. Very lucky.
This is a lovely place to stay, and we came away with very happy memories. Thanks Jan.

Stayed in a cabin overnight. Was comfortable with ensuite A/C and TV. The hostess was a mine of information about Cooktown and delightful to speak to. The Park was quiet and is set amongst shady trees and kept neat and tidy not far from the centre of town. Highly recommended.

A well located park with good amenities and hot showers. Walking distance to town and the esplanade. Walk to Grassy Hill lookout is a real hoof, but a good part of the ring walk. Sunset tour with Nick of The Riverbend Tours is well worth it. Jack Jacky Thai was very good.

Friendly and informative check in. Good sized unpowered sites. Only downside was we parked under a light which stayed on all night. Look up!!|Amenities great and showers hot!|Park was quiet at night. Pleasant experience. Fish guy comes around 5pm with a great range.
