Now called the Alter Wine Bar this place is very nice. We sat outside and due to the cool weather and we were provided with warm blankets. The gardens are stunning and the view over surrounding properties is very nice. The standout was the food-we had sweet potato fries, oysters with finger lime and the best dumplings I have ever eaten-I had the vegetable and my sister had the prawn-whole prawn, not mushy. We also enjoyed a nice chardonnay. Live music started about an hour after we arrived. There is adequate parking and the service was very good. We will return. One suggestion is that they invest in some outdoor heating between the tables for extra coziness as the winter gets closer.

Lovely venue with beautiful surrounding grounds. Brilliant for kids - my six-year-old was given a big bowl of popcorn as he walked in then went to play on the giant back field. Delicious food and fantastic wine menu.

Lovely afternoon picnic in the garden, listening to music and drinks from the Altar Bar. Can't wait for them to open for afternoon sessions Friday to Sunday.

I’ve just had our wedding here and I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing & perfect it was!
The rain was stressing me out but even with the venue being very soggy & the rain bucketing down, everything was incredible!
The team at the Old Church were so lovely, friendly, helpful and down to earth it made this crazy stressed out bride a lot calmer! ? We 100% recommend this venue, all we got was compliments about choosing this venue and that the vibe was amazing no matter the weather, and we agree. Having a wet weather contingency in the beautiful marquee helped a lot too, plus having the accommodation of the actual church the night before & night of made life so much easier without having to travel between places. Such a unique experience!
I could praise the team & the venue all day! We love it!

I had my work Christmas party here and is was so pretty. The food was fancy but really well done. I tried so many new foods and like almost all of them. I would recommend this place for special occasions.

A beautiful historical venue in the heart of Milton. The gardens are amazing & light up at night and the buildings are gorgeous. Its the perfect place for a wedding, party etc. The staff and owners are all so lovely.

Very nice apart from the bugs. Too much lemon and mayo. Couldn't even taste the bugs, and very small portion. Need to rework the bugs. Everythlng else top marks.
