Our room was dated & had shower over bath. Found the TV hard to operate, had to hotspot our own phone. No Foxtel, only regular streaming apps. Restaurant at the bottom was closed more than open. Great location though.

Trying to find the place was a struggle, signage was minimal from the road/car, maps took us around and around the wrong street. No one answered when ringing for help with directions. Upon checking in we found the carpark extremely tight, the room was old and small (but clean). Our sofa bed was not made up with linen or an extra towel for our third guest, but a call to reception rectified that quite quickly. Location is great, walking distance to Fortitude Valley and City, and a convenient Woolworths/Chemist etc across the road. Price was reflective.

We fly a fair bit from CNS to BNE and stay here regularly. As an Accor gold member it’s generally been great service here. Last long weekend we stayed here from Fri to Mon at room 2702. Thanks for the welcome pack and bottle of Rose. However, the bathroom was missing the lid over the drain to which we immediately notified reception. Nothing was done about it. On the Saturday we mentioned it again nothing was done again. On the Sunday we mentioned again as this time injured my little toe, ripped off the nail, and ended with a purple toe. This time we also asked the young fella to get the room serviced. We came back later room unserviced and lid still missing. Came down again and was lied saying there was no availability over weekends to service. Upon check out kudos to James for finally being the listener, acknowledging and apologising to us. Useless staff who are not able to think quickly or interested in doing their job properly should be removed immediately

A great stay. The rooms were large enough and clean even though they were a little dated. We had a great view of the Brisbane river. A Woolworths supermarket is right next door so food can be cooked in the rooms kitchen. Just a short walk down Ann Street to Central station.

Hotel is old and room is worn, we stayed in lvl 22 and the room smells like a kitchen all day and night, cooking non stop, I think all our clothes will smell bad, room was not clean, just ok. Parking is very narrow, need to be very careful otherwise will scratch the sides.

The hotel is in need of maintenance and freshening up. The car park was extremely tight. One of the staff members said he has hit the side of the wall twice. Multiple scratch marks on the carpark where people have collided with the wall. Mould on the shower door. Bathroom cabinet in need of repair. Doona was stained.Sauna was out of order during my visit. Overall, I don't believe it's up to 4 star standard or worth the price I paid to stay there.

The hotel on the surface looks tired but clean enough.||Its only when you wake at night to see a family of cockroaches scurrying around the bathroom from their home within a gap of grout in the shower, or if you’re very lucky one might run across you while your sleeping.||The next morning while leaving another might greet you at your door on the hallway carpet. ||That’s when you question the cleanliness of the tired hotel.

Most definitely one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. Completely unorganised, outdated and expensive! I tried multiple times calling the Hotel Manager to resolve the many issues we faced on our stay. I contacted Mantra 6 times, left my name & number and asked specifically for the Manager to contact me, not one call back. I would NOT recommend this place, I'd rather stay at a backpackers instead, atleast their standard would be slightly higher than Mantra!
