3 days into a 7 day stay and we are covered in midge bits and scratching. Rooms weren’t clean at check in : bloodied diapers, un made beds, pillows with goo on them. Kitchens not equipped with utensils you need. Pool not worth using for all the bites you get but the midges are in the units too so you can’t avoid them. Walls paper thin, you can hear talking and music and toilet habits from the unit next door. Dirty carpets in building foyers and they smell. It’s just awful. Don’t be deceived by pictures or positive reviews. Location is the only positive here

Location provides great access to wherever you want to go but that's about the only plus.
Rooms - had the "pleasure" of occupying two rooms during our stay and both were "meh". On face value, they looked ok however, mould in bathrooms, ants in kitchen, NO internet access, smelly hallways, broken balcony doors, empty soap bottles, no cable or Netflix etc.
Parking was impossible!
We had a day booked at Gold Coast to visit Sea World and see family however, an hour in we got a call from the hotel asking when we'd be back as they "were changing the security system" and needed to "swap our key." We told them we were out for the day. They called again a little while later and said the owner of the apartment needed it back so they were moving us and asked again when we'd be back. This meant after spending $800 on tickets for Sea World, our day was ruined and full of stress feeling we needed to get back asap because they had called is twice! This meant leaving sea world after only 2 hours so we could see family as planned and then return back at hotel where we were moved to an apartment full of ants. Our "compensation" was a box of chocolates and the promise of two nights free parking (not received anything about this yet as we'd paid in advance).
I'm disappointed in the service, especially as the staff appeared to blatantly lie to us about a change in security systems in order to get the key, I'm supposing they would have said something like oh there is an issue with the new system so the room has to be vacated and then when that didn't work and they had to tell us it was because the owner wanted the apartment back and was "being difficult" they actively pushed us to give a time we'd be back to move.
Long and short of it, we will NOT be back to stay at this place and I will NOT recommendation it to anyone.

Don't trust the older reviews, this place has gone downhill a lot since I was last here.
Unclean, dated rooms that are missing some of the essentials you expect in a hotel. Staff are rude and clueless. Heaps of people having parties and playing loud music at all hours of the day when I was here, so very hard to get any sleep or peace and quiet. Would not recommend.

Dirty, dated rooms that smell of cigarettes, and terrible service from the lazy staff. While I was here I had to put up with a loud party from another room that kept me up until 1am, I called reception and they did nothing. If you're looking for somewhere affordable in the area, go elsewhere, it will save you a lot of trouble.

We enjoyed our stay and staff were very helpful with any concern we had whilst staying in the Mews apartments. More bowls and ovenware would have been good to be able to use the oven and microwave. Only one saucepan and one fry-pan in the kitchen.

The location is handy for people attending RBWH - as I was for 2 x surgeries.
Booking was a fiasco but for the location I persevered.
Apart from checking you in & out the service was non-existent QUOTE: We do not provide room service for PTSS.
No tea/coffee top-ups, no toilet paper top ups, no clean towels, no clean sheets, no garbage emptied & no garage chute - 'take it to the bins in the basement carpark'.
Stained carpets, spackle all over the walls & no access to cleaning equipment - after a week I was more than happy to leave.

The maintenance guy or worker was so rude for no reason. I was just getting into the lift only!

The stay was quote good bit the aftercare has not been.||I left my cellphone at the property and called them immediately once I realised, I was advised the phone had been found and if I arranged a prepaid envelope this would be returned to me. ||I purchased a prepaid international mail envelope from australia post and advised the property this would arrive addressed to myself and informed them of my home address to send me phone on. ||The delivery of the prepaid envelope has been declined and the envelope is now been returned to sender...it looks like I am now not getting my cellphone back but am also out of pocket for the prepaid envelope which I purchased.||I have tried contacting the property numerous times with no joy
