Pros: The room is comfortable and quiet, with a nice balcony, but not very spacious (Petrie room with balcony). It has a very large television and a good fridge. The sheets and towels are of good quality. The shower is very good. |Cons: The cleaning was pretty bad. We had to complain to the manager, and it got better the following day. Service from the front desk was ok, but they should be more attentive considering the price and the category the hotel wants to be in - we would rate it as four stars, and if the cleaning issues are solved, it could be 4.5 stars, but not five stars.

The room was beautiful HOWEVER the bathroom wasn’t clean at all. Splatter marks on the backsplash and mirrors, build up (not just mould, build up that would come off when a shower is cleaned properly) on the tiles, grout and drain.
I spoke to reception once we had showered later and noticed this and was only offered free parking - which I’d already paid for and is yet to be refunded (but I’m not sure it will be). I spoke to front desk about the matter in the morning and was told they’d simply “let housekeeping know”.
Location was good, close to some nice cafes and restaurants and walking distance to Coles and the hotel was easy to find. Parking was easy since it’s a fairly small hotel.

Ok. Our stay was arranged through Frequent Flyers and sold as a 5-Star hotel. Not sure what rating criteria is being used or if anyone from Qantas has actually been here…
Pros:
-The staff were helpful
-Reasonably convenient location
-The bed was bigger and more comfortable than expected
Cons:
-The furniture looked like it had been sourced from a verge collection
-There was enough hair on the floor and in all the nooks n cranny’s to make a wig
-The bedside power point was live and luckily for us, only destroyed our phone charger and didn’t kill us and/or start a fire

We’ve enjoyed our trip to Brisbane but 5-Stars my backside…

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were lovely and comfortable the only disappointment was our room needed a seriously deep clean.The air con vent was covered in thick dust and the shelves that the glasses sat on and the TV stand absolutely covered in dust. I could feel the dust particles in my throat the next morning..Let's just say the bare minimum of cleaning was done.

THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. It pains me to give this hotel even 1 star. This is not a 5 star hotel - we booked one of their best deluxe rooms and it had unfinished plaster work everywhere + dirt + a filthy/dust-covered aircon unit. They overbook the carpark every night so you can't get in or out after arriving easily. There are SO many decent hotels in Brisbane. There's no way they'll keep their rating when it's assessed again.

It is the second time I come to this hotel. The location is great, but it's obviously getting old. The shower drain was not working well and the entire bathroom floor was full of water all the way to the carpet.Guests in other rooms are noisy: many party people at 3 AM just start talking in the hallway.But you can experience something right out of the 90s... you have to pay for internet! And it's super slow!I may stay these again because it's the only decent only in this area, but I would go elsewhere if I could.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is definitely not it. False advertising, nothing says 5 star at all from the room with a window facing the hallway (inserted pic) empty bar fridge and lack of bath robe or slippers. Plus the parking downstairs is cumbersome-where you need to get out of your car and press a button that doesn’t work to open up the garage door.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was amazing with all modern furniture. Secure parking was also great.
