Absolutely horrible experience. The manager was extremely rude and obnoxious, even going so far as to abuse my pregnant partner in front of other guests. It was the worst customer service we’ve ever encountered.

The room was filthy, with stains all over the bed, and the entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. The walls are paper-thin, so we could hear every single thing happening in the rooms next to us, which made it impossible to relax.

And then there’s the price—$250 per night. For that amount, we expected at least basic comfort, cleanliness, and parking. Instead, we got none of that. To make matters worse, they charged us an extra $50 for parking in their hotel lot, despite there being no mention of this fee anywhere online or on the premises. It felt like a deliberate rip-off.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere because K2 is an absolute joke.

I had a fantastic stay! The guy at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel really stood out—everything was spotless. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I had no complaints at all and would definitely recommend this place.

Probably the best hospitality experience I've had! It's a beautiful historic building, renovated to be super modern & clean but keeps all the charm of the original structure.

I'm so grateful to the staff who were welcoming, helpful and extremely generous. I really can't emphasise enough how brilliant the staff here are!

Spring Hill is massively underrated, it's central to everything but avoids the craziness of Valley/City/West End. Nighttime is quiet and peaceful but still a stone's throw from the action.

My understanding is even more rooms and facilities will be opening soon, and based on what I saw, it's going to be incredible.

This place is an absolute gem for anyone travelling to Brissy, regardless of room requirements, budget etc - it seems like there would be a perfect room for almost anyone

I was blown away and extended my stay, it was a brilliant stay. 10/10 absolutely check it out if you're heading to Brisbane for work or holiday

Excellent place. Ours was a last minute booking. Andrew bested the online price, and when we got there upgraded our room. The place was sparkling clean, well located and he kindly allowed us to leave bags and even our car in the car park after we checked out. The rooms were modern and new. Highly recommend.

Check in was an easy process. Stayed four nights. Room was not cleaned throughout my stay, towel was not replaced. Shared bathrooms were small with some doors opening into cubical space, making it awkward. Tiles in one of the bathrooms had mould. Could hear other guests making noise throughout the night. Ceiling fan/ light would make a buzzing sound at regular intervals.
TV in the room was not tuned, unable to watch television.

This is beyond what we expected. We had such an amazing time visiting from Florida for a family emergency. Andrew is a blessing sent from god we literally we were treated so great and had great amenities and a great experience. Everything is clean and tidy and will never forget this place. We will definitely come back and this time for an actual vacation. Thank you and the staff for everything. Cheers !

Great stay. Room was clean and as expected and all I needed for the 3 nights. Hostel without being too much like a hostel. Shared spaces were clean and showers modern.||Check in was easy and the key fobs/key codes for the doors very handy. ||I got some photos from the zoo and the staff were super helpful letting me use a computer to download them as I was itching to look.||Room was a little on the warm side but nothing opening the window for a bit each evening didn't sort. ||Great spot for joining my Intrepid tour as the joining point hotel was just around the corner.||The nearby park was really beautiful and it wasn't far to walk into Brisbane and very close to the train station I needed to get from the airport and to Australia zoo! ||Lovely open air lane swimming pool a short walk away too! ||Good place to explore Brisbane for a few days. Would recommend.

Fantastic short overnight stay in the city. Exceeded our simple needs even! Plenty of rideshares nearby. Most comfortable bed in large lounge/dining area, Bathroom facilities modern and fresh. Complimentary crisps and water welcomed.
