Incredibly welcoming and flexible. Off street parking available which for a location close to the Royal Brisbane Hospital is a god send. Tarriff included a lovely continental breakfast with toast, spreads, freshly made fruit salad and a selection of cereals, yoghurt. Tea and coffe. Bed was comfortable, had own private ensuite. Would definitely recommend it if you need accomodation close to the hospital. Lilly their dog is lovely and friendly but not at all in your face so don't be put off by mentions of her if you are not a dog person

What a find, so close to Royal Brisbane Hospital, a mere two minutes walk in a safe area. Friendly hosts Andrew & Meyka (sorry spelling wrong), can't do enough for you. A home away from home. Comfy bed w/fantastic 1000 thread cotton sheets & p/cases. Room cleaned daily, communal & bedroom/bathroom clean. Great breakfast included in tariff - freshly cut fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereals, bread (plain & fruit) for toasting, choice of teas/coffees, & spreads. Outside area off dining room for relaxing. Small dog, Lilly, on site, which welcomes you then runs upstairs for most of the time. She's quiet so no continual barking. Two parking spaces available on site or permit given if you need to park on road. Visited this home twice on recent hospital visits & highly recommend for a very reasonable priced B 'n' B. If you're a carer for a hospital patient, ask hospital volunteers for travel office in hospital, for possible part-rebate on accommodation, dependent on distance travelled.

We stayed here on recommendation of local family. A good choice. An ideal choice also for comfortable accommodation adjacent to the hospital. ||||Room a comfortable, large though not inspiring decor. Good shared kitchen facilities and opportunity to use outdoor table to eat. ||||Very cheerful and personal communication before arrival and during stay.||||We were there in midl weather, cannot speak of other times.

Just five minutes walk from Brisbane Women's Hospital. Ideal for our purpose. Very friendly and helpful owner. Lot of road/city noise. Also owner lives above rooms and has wooden floors and heavy feet. Needs carpet upstairs. Otherwise pretty good.

I was so lucky to have found Butterflies on Butterfield on the internet while searching for accommodation close to the RBWH. It is so close that even the slowest walker can make the trip door to door in 10 minutes. Andrew's and Maaike's attention to detail made staying there an absolute pleasure. It was more like staying with friends who had really lovely comfortable guest accommodation.
