Good vibe, food is good, but as in most cases when busy, could be better.
Been going to this pub for over 30 years.
The view is spectacular. I live in Boyne Island.

Tried the chicken schnitzel with the Tannum topper.
Did not disappoint.
Great service, salad bar, reasonable prices and well priced post mix drinks.

Very basic room. 1 x double bed and 1 x single bed. Clean enough and nice view from back door. The pillows were lovely and soft, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! We always really appreciate good water pressure with great water flow. Checking in is done at the main bar, which was a little embarrassing as we had just come from the beach, so was in my togs. We did not eat at the hotel this stay, but in past visits to Tannum Sands we have, and the food has always been amazing.

Had a great meal here. Sat outside, there is a play area for the kids, nice garden and views. Our meals were delicious and affordable.

Terrible & overpriced meals. The chilli crab & prawn fettuccine had no chilli. A very bland tasting & stodgy meal. Not sure if there was any crab in the meal. The seafood basket was the most pitiful basket I’ve eaten. I should have gone to the fish & chip shop. The only life forms that were enjoying these two meals were the numerous flies inside the venue. An incredibly disappointing New Year’s Eve lunch.

Sunday breakfast buffet $20 is a must. We go every time we visit Tannum Sands. Highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you take a booking.

Went for lunch today. All I can say is reheated food. Pork belly terrible last night left overs. Garlic cream toppers cold and cream from a tin discusting.
Scallops toppers cold and one scallop sliced into four. $40 meal at lunchtime was a disgrace food was terrible and way over priced.
Do not eat here it's a high priced low budget bistro at gourmet prices. Will never eat there again. Total rip off and disgrace. When staff informed no offer to replace meal. Pay before you get for a reason.. no service here. Total money grab no service and cold food and reheated microwaved crap.

Called in to Tannum Sands Hotel away for a work trip , Stayed the night and had a meal and few drinks .

The room was very clean and an amazing view to relax to .
I had the surf & turf special for dinner It was top notch and the beer selection was good and friendly staff.
Overall a great experience 5stars👌🏻
