We stayed twice at this B&B, both before and after Heron Island. Therese and Terry were charming hosts. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. This place is so convenient to shops and restaurants being in the centre of Gladstone. We had tropical fruit and then freshly cooked eggs for breakfast. Terry drove us to the wharf for our ferry to the island.||On return we had another comfortable overnight, good breakfast and then we were driven to the airport for our flight home. We would highly recommend this B&B.

I stayed at this carefully restored historic home in Gladstone overnight, on my way to Heron Island. I agree with the other reviewers that the house is spacious, charming, and delightful. Breakfast was delicious. But the most amazing thing was Therese's care. She directed me to stores and restaurants in the vicinity that were perfect. She went out of her way to offer to drive me to the airport from the ferry on my return as I had a really tight flight return connection. This was unbelievably kind. I highly recommend this B&B.

My partner and I stayed for one night on the way to Heron Island - and were really happy we picked this place. It's a beautiful old house with very friendly and helpful hosts, and lots of interesting decor. Our room was really nice and the ensuite bathroom was clean. Breakfast was delicious. The B&B is in a great location right in the centre of Gladstone, handy to restaurants, and it's an easy walk to the marina to catch the Heron Island ferry the next morning.

We were spending the night in Gladstone in order to leave the next day for Heron Island and decided to stay at this B&B once we discovered there are no good buget accomodations in Gladstone. We decided we should at least have all the comforts of home if we were going to pay the price and have a breakfast included also. We were not disappointed at this B&B as it is a wonderful historic building that the owners have down a great job with. They are also the best of hosts and very helpful. We highly recommend it!!! ++++||It is located on a hill with a great view and is a easy walking distance to downtown (a few blocks).

I stayed at Aukland hill B&B after booking an online special. The personal service of Terry and Therese was fantastic. Terry met me in the carpark as I arrived showed me my room and gave me a tour of the building. ||The room was clean and spacious. The only draw back is I found the bed a little hard. ||The B&B is located near the main strip in Gladstone, close to the port, and about 10 minutes from the airport. There are multiple eating options within walking distance. ||||I'll probably be back next time I visit Gladstone.

This is an historic home in the CBD of Gladstone converted to a very comfortable B & B. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The old world charm is carried throughout the house with lots of personal touches of old memorabilia. Therese the owner is extremely welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble and breakfast is served with a smile. I loved it.

This place was everything you expect a B&B to be, perhaps it is the personal contact with the people running these sort of places that separates them from the cold and impersonal reception received at most hotels and some motels these days.||There is lot of old world charm about the premises, most of the rooms have a spacious bedroom as well as sitting room and well appointed bathrooms and some have access to a verandah or balcony. The common areas, lounge, dining room and outdoor areas are large and tastefully furnished. The owners Terry and Therese are keen to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I will definately stay here again on my next visit to Gladstone.
