I’ve stayed in many hotels and vacation rentals, and this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Everything about it was seamless. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff was incredibly friendly and easy to reach. The location is fantastic—Trinity Beach is a charming, quiet beach town that I absolutely loved. I even spotted three kangaroos while there!

The apartment itself was spacious, perfect for my dad, brother, and me, with comfortable beds for everyone. It had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, two bathrooms stocked with toiletries, and a clean, spacious kitchen. The balcony was a lovely added touch, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We were just a quick two-minute walk from the beach and local restaurants. There’s also closed garage parking for guests, which was a big plus.

One thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern when booking anything beyond the first floor. Despite that, we felt completely safe and secure throughout our stay.

If I come back to Cairns, I’ll definitely stay here again, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know!"

Our stay in this apartment on Trinity Beach was a bit up and down.

First the positives:
• The location is fantastic. We’d stayed in Trinity Beach before (other accommodation) so knew the area. We wanted to be on the esplanade but away from the noisy establishments. This apartment is a very short walk to several great restaurants, bars and cafes.
• The 3 bed apartment was spacious, clean and fairly well appointed.
• The pool and BBQ area were very nice and clean.
• The tariff was reasonable for our 16 night stay, given the location and size of the apartment.
• Nancy in reception was very welcoming and provided some great advice about activities in the area based on personal experience.

Now for some negatives:
• The washing machine has a major fault, resulting in it jumping around before cutting out on multiple occasions. This was reported to reception, but not addressed before the end of our stay.
• The oven needs an IT degree for even basic use. There was a manual in the drawer, which helped.
• The apartment had a few cockroaches. Gerald in reception was indifferent in dealing with this.

Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short by a day. In our haste to leave, a personal item was left behind. I contacted reception the following day, pointing out that the item was a medical device which was required for health reasons. I asked for it to be sent at my expense to my home address as a matter of urgency. Four days later and after several follow-up phone calls and emails it was finally sent. This situation was 100% our fault, but Gerald’s lack of urgency in addressing this was a major disappointment (not to mention the health impact).

We arrived outside office hours, our key was in a safe in which an email was sent prior to our arrival with instructions on how to access.
After getting our key we parked our car in undercover parking, of which there are plenty of spaces.
We unloaded our car and climbed stairs with baggage to the 3rd floor, our fitness improved while there.
When we opened the door to our 'home for a week' we were pleasantly surprised.
The room was beautifully decorated and furnished, a single apartment and the bed was very comfortable.
The kitchen has everything for a short stay ie microwave, toaster, jug, fridge and a hotplate.
Our view was nice from the balcony and the weather perfect for our whole stay.
I went down to the office next morning to check in and met the owner, he happily checked us in with no fuss.
It was very quiet and the staff are friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return stay.

DELUXE 1 BEDROOM... 😂
We booked direct to get a discount which we didn't get. We're locals, so already we know we're avoiding this place in future.
The room was great once upon a time - very tired, the dryer did not work (l find this out after I've done a small load). My worst scenario was looking forward to that coffee pod machine upon arrival. But there were no pods! It's these small things that help us overlook the obvious smell in the rug when the air con is off and the peeling laminate in the cupboards. This place is reaching a budget market soon but the price remains along with the very old photos.
I checked the Hilton for the same price that weekend - we could have stayed there. Also - the Manager was so rude when l asked where l could continue my zoom meeting after checkout, seeing they'd re-negged on the late check out agreement we had. He really wanted a fight but l just wanted a space in reception or something.

Worst experience EVER. From the minute we walked in, the apartment stunk. It was so small and squashy - not to mention couch was old and uncomfortable - and had Rat poo in it.
We were also told not to put a/c below a certain temp - um hello weve paid to use it and want to be comfy. Pool is like ahot bath and not refreshing at all.
Also filthy with RAT poo (and pee dried up in tv unit) all over the apartment. We notified owners and they came to "clean" it up and i observed the woman wiping the poo and rinsing it in the kitchen sink.
Ants everywhere and just no real welcoming vibe to it. By the 3rd morning i had developed sore throat and glands.
Bed was uncomfortable, door in bedroom was jammed, security doors were old and haggered and just the whole experience was a waste of time and effort.

Thank goodness we got out on the 4th day ( i demanded for a FULL refund ) and moved to a much cleaner, spacious and REAL quality accomadation.

DONT EVEN THINK OF STAYING HERE !

Rented a 2 bedroom apartment here on the last leg of our trip and this did not disappoint!! Beautiful area,amazing views that won my heart! Very spacious with a great balcony to sit on in the evenings whilst chatting/drinking.|Would happily stay here again…my only issue was the air con which was too cold…but that was the fault of my Aussie friends not the building!!

What can I say ?
Friendly staff, easy check in and out.
Great room very clean comfortable and well appointed with everything you need kitchenette, lounge area with TV and DVD player, comfortable sofa.
There's even a washing machine and dryer for those longer stays.
The view from the balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean was spectacular.
Talk about value for money, give them a go you can't go wrong.
As for location everything is within walking distance, beach, shops, cafes, tavern and restaurants.
Double my 5 stars to 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic location. Full stop!
Unit was very very very tired; photographs on the website are imaginative!
I immediately noticed the towels were not clean, pillows horrendous and the blanket on the bed was stained. The next day, the iron, toaster and bathroom lights did not work.
We would have checked out if there was any alternative (town is booked out!)
Then to top it off, scaffolding was erected across the front of the building for an entire week. Did they tell us that before hand - no! Slipped a note under the door.
Very poor form. The 2 stars represent the location and sympathy for the receptionist trying to manage a greedy owner who eagerly took our money.
Do not stay here!
