I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. I arrived much earlier than expected due to a mix-up, but they let me check in early. The front desk was not always staffed which was inconvenient sometimes but staffs there were nice and friendly. The only disappointment during my stay here was that the rough seas prevented me from doing any marine activities. I would like to come back to Palm Cove and this hotel someday again.

Had to found a new hotel because the one I booked in Cairns was awful and stumbled into this one in Palm Cove. The highlight of the day was Ros, in reception, who helped us the best way possible and it was the nicest person ever! The hotel itself is really good, offers a excellent infrastructure, pool area and jacuzzi. The noise from the air con engines on the side were not too loud and didn't bother us. Highly recommend (specially because of the brilliant work of Ros).

Great location. Relaxed staff and environment. Having read some of the reviews written re noise and service….. noise was caused repeatedly by trucks outside the resort, so nothing they can do. Service, when you find a staffer, was outstanding. They know that they need to (and do) provide good customer service. Internet access by the pool was poor at best, so take a hot spot with you. Our biggest problem with this stay was the huge prices of anything to eat or drink in the immediate vicinity. Bring supplies, as some rooms have basic cooking facilities. Would I recommend this particular resort? Absolutely yes.

Awful experience. If you want to relax do NOT go here. It’s so loud. Woken by noise everyday, even before 7am by cleaners. They had works happening. Didn’t tell me. I was woken at 8-8.30 every weekday by workman banging, yelling and hammering. Then 9am sharp was drills. I couldn’t use my balcony because the workman were. See photo. When I complained there was one great receptionist who was empathetic but I got no compensation. I complained every day and it wasn’t until I got really mad did they offer me free clean towels and a room clean. Rooms are not cleaned unless you are there for over 7 days and if you want clean towels you have to pay $4. I did find out they started emailing people about the works after I complained, but sending the email the day the guest was to arrive so they didn’t have a chance to cancel and find alternate accommodation.
Again if you want to relax and sleep in, I’m writing this at 9.15am on a Sunday as I was woken by cleaner talking and vacuuming.
Do NOT recommend unless you are up by 6am.

The staff could not have been more helpful and more welcoming, they were amazing and always smiling. Nothing was too much and they make you feel at home straight away.
The room was perfect for what we needed. comfy bed, good shower, lovely pool and location is great, you can walk to everything.

Perhaps the room was worth the price relative to other locations but you must be prepared for old and minimal. Shower was hilarious. Old marginal glass just covered toiler. Pipe for faucet. No sink, in “kitchen. Staff leaves at 3. Gave us WiFi but didn’t turn it on. I realized their password coding system and piggybacked to an adjoining room. Old mattress and pillows. But it was good for us just passing through. Check prices and compare lodging nearby. Profit taking with deferred maintenance is currently the issue. Sorry. ( we did stay here but not the name on reservation).

Fantastic resort to stay in. The location is perfect to the beach and restaurants. It is not a high end resort, but that is reflected in the price. Excellent value for money. I loved how clean the appartment was and the beds were super comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Thank you to the staff who made our stay so great.

The place lives up to its name. We had a very clean, large room with a balcony and a fantastic view of a paradisiacal palm forest, which also provided us with shade. In no time at all you can be in the resort's own pool or directly across the road in the protected area in the ocean. The natural surroundings are breathtaking and the team is on hand to help with any questions, be it about excursions, restaurants or weather forecasts. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the Paradise on the Beach. The internet provides good information on what needs it covers well. And it covers a lot of them.
