What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Everything was just gorgeous and exactly what I was needing. Greeted by Stuart and Tony who are super Hosts and Managers of Argosy. The presentation is superb, the serenity you experience from the beautiful gardens, crystal clear pool, stunning views out to Clifton beach from the apartment balcony, the constant sounds of the waves on the beach, and the beautiful decor of the fully equipped apartment was amazing! Gorgeous walks along the beach and pathways, shops close by, Palm Cove and other stunning beaches within easy access too. Loved, loved loved my stay so much i stayed an extra 2 days. Til next time 🌺

Great quite place to stay away from all the busyness of other Northern Beaches - exactly what we wanted.
Views across the beach and also the back balcony for afternoon sun - not many places can offer both.

My partner and I have just left today after a 2 week stay with Argosy on the Beach. Stuart and Tony were great owners who made us feel welcome and at ease during our 2 week stay. The apartments were spotless and spacious and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. We will 100% stay here again for our next holiday.

STAY AWAY! horrible experience!
None of the photos on Booking presented the photos we received.
Even though we booked it at least three months ahead, for three nights, we were put in a different room from what we ordered (afterward, the host told us that there weren't any rooms left)
We updated the host that we will arrive at 8pm, apparntly this was too late for her to welcome us and we had to udesrtand our way to our room and its facilities. When we tried to call her for Wifi details and other questions we had, she never replied to our messages or answered our calls.
The apartment we were put in was located on the ground floor with an open view to the street, we just felt unsafe staying there... The curtains didn't cover the whole window, and every person crossing could watch us.
One of the most disturbing things was that there was a sharing window with the reception to the apartments living room - 0 privacy.
If all this is not enough, there was a lick from the bathroom ceiling, and the room was absolutely dirty with hairs and rust everywhere.
When the host finally answered our call on the next morning, she came and was very rude and arrogant - for every complaint we gave here, she gave us the most ridiculous answers, concluding her disgusting speech with "good luck finding other place to sleep in Carines" (which we found btw and was amazing).

Nice, comfy, spotless clean, spacious, ocean front accommodation with good facilities and located at calm laid-back area with good access to Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas. The kitchen was very equipped. The living area was eastward and in front of ocean with the wave sounds. Bedrooms were westward, quiet, and you could hear birds sounds at morning and watch cute wallabies in the back yard at morning or afternoon.

Clean, well equipped, good location, friendly managers and spacious rooms. Stayed here for one week with my wife in December 2016 and still talk about our wonderful memory about our stay at Argosy on the Beach. We will go there again in near future.

We had two balconies, one oceanfront and the other of a wooded area which we often spotted kangaroos hanging out near. Our lodging was huge, airy and impressive. We enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub. However it's the management of Judith Norris who really made our stay extra special, comfy and relaxing. She made sure we had what we needed and goes beyond good service. She keeps the gardens lovely which if anyone is a gardener knows that job alone can take up to 30hrs a week to maintain. She was always on the go and so easy going. We also loved this location because it's not overly touristy, has nice walking trails by the beach, a park within walking distance and best yet a reserve {which is probably why we were more likely to see the kangaroo's}. If you're planning a trip to Cairn's we highly recommend the Argosy for comfort, style, location and service.
