Such a beautiful getaway!
We booked our stay with Fig Tree Farm to celebrate our son’s birthday. Lydia went above and beyond to ensure our children got the most out of their stay. She provided an environment that allowed as much interaction with the animals as desired. The animals themselves are well taken care of and clearly well loved. The amenities are lovely and most importantly kept to a high standard. We are looking forward to returning again in the very near future.

To start with, Lydia was a wonderful host! She went above and beyond to ensure my partner and I had a fun and romantic getaway for the two of us. The location was perfect for my partner and I and the mountains surrounding the cottage was surreal. Inside the cottage was a beautiful modern look, very clean and very comfortable place to just sit back and relax whilst having a wine and looking at the animals and the mountains. The animals were of course another favourite reason we loved the stay so much. We were provided everything by the host and if we had any issues Lydia would help in every possible way so that we would enjoy our stay. Lydia was very warm and welcoming and we absolutely will be back again in the near future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. See you soon! 5 Stars all round!

I had an unforgettable experience at Fig tree farm! The location is good being close to the airport and city, so it is easy to get to. The host, Lydia, went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The cottage is spotless, so clean and comfortable. The highlight was of course the animals. They are very well taken care of. It was such a delight to be able to play with the animals every day. Love the small touches like the freshly laid eggs, a personal welcome sign and even providing boots. Lydia is the perfect host and this farm is such a great getaway for anyone wanting a respite from a busy life. Left the farm feeling refreshed and missing the lovely and beautiful animals. 😉

Our recent stay at this charming farm stay was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the host, Ms Lydia, greeted us with genuine warmth, cheerfulness, and an infectious enthusiasm that made us feel right at home. The farm in its lush, expansive greenery stretched far out creating a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The animals on the farm were not only healthy but also incredibly fun to interact with, especially during feeding times-a true highlight for both kid and adults alike!

The facilities were clean and thoughtfully maintained, offering the perfect balance of comfort and rustic charm. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect with nature, or simply enjoy the company of delightful animals and an exceptional host, this farm stay is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

We are return guests to this delightful cottage and farm stay. The cottage is immaculately clean and the surrounding gardens and land are beautifully well kept.
The biggest asset to Fig Tree is the host, Lydia. She is one of those special people who has genuine kindness in her heart.
It was the perfect place to take my elderly, disabled parents to, where Lydia went out of her way to accommodate their special needs. There was a ramp put in place, bathroom aids, and two special chairs provided.
We’re deeply grateful for these extras and we had a most enjoyable stay. Thank you again Lydia! We’ll be back!

We had a lovely four days staying at Fig Tree Farm. Lydia had thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable. We loved making bread in the morning and collecting our eggs for breakfast. Our grandsons loved feeding the animals especially the baby kids. This really is a five star bed and breakfast. Would love to visit again next time in Australia.

Our family had a fantastic 4 days at the farm. Upon arrival, I was absolutely impressed with how new and clean the cottage was! (Caz tbh staying at a farm with kids was kind of worrying). But this place actually turned out to be a true hidden gem. Fully air conditioned, more than enough amenities provided, very comfortable beddings (fresh and clean and new). Lydia was always so helpful in every aspect. Provided us thorough info to each question, fast response, never made me felt i was asking too much questions haha … The photos cant show enough of the goodness we enjoyed here.

Just wanted to say, THANK YOU Lydia for making such a great place for travellers to experience, left us with fond memories, especially for the kids

Fig tree farm is a fantastic place to bring a young family for a holiday. On arrival we were greeted and shown around. We were introduced to all the animals and Lydia explained the best way to interact with all of them. We collected chicken eggs and fed the ducks, cows and baby goats. The house is so peaceful and the views are incredible. There is a little creek to play in at the bottom of the property.

We stayed for 4 nights which was a perfect little get away for my family. We will definitely be back again.
