We had booked a couples 90 min hot stone massage. Unfortunately not much use of the hot stone throughout the treatment. Out of 90 min we probably only got 15 min worth.
My massage was more an island massage which was relaxing and wonderful- thank you Nga! However my husband got more of a deep tissue massage which was not relaxing and he was greatly disappointed.
We both got completely two different types of massages.
As we are aware hot stone massages are not easy to handle, for the price we paid we expected a proper relaxing hot stone treatment. Unfortunately this was not the case and we feel it was not value for money.

This new company isn't honouring any previously purchased gift cards from Ipswich Massage and Herbal Spa. I can't use two gift cards gifted to me at my baby shower which are due to expire in 2025.
DO NOT RECOMMEND, absolutely dreadful terms and conditions. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Booked my mum and myself in for the Total relaxation package for mothers day. We both loved our treatments. Felt very relaxed afterwards. Will come again and definitely recommend.

Great massage from John. Was a little quieter than previous owners but still a calm and peaceful shop. Would recommend if you are looking for a remedial massage for sure.

Quite disappointed. My partner and I went for an hour. We both specified neck and shoulders. Had to ask for more pressure twice. After a while passed I asked how long was left as my neck was not touched. Was told 10 minutes and I asked to please have my neck done. Was told “I will” then continued with my legs. Had a minute at the end of my massage with a rough, dry towel… why ask what area we want worked on if it’s just going to be avoided. We came in because we have hypertension and left with the same as when we came in, just more frustrated. Please listen to your customers needs and wants. That’s what we pay for.

Okay so I have to give the ‘lore’ of this place because we were so confused about the google reviews and Facebook page that looks hacked. So we did some research because the service was really good and we couldn’t work it out.

It’s had 3 owners. The 1st owner kept control of the Facebook page and has talked badly about the 2nd owners. The 2nd owners ran the place into the ground. The 3rd owners are really recent.

Great massage! Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable and they do couple massages in the same room which not all places do. Pressure was good and they checked with us on this several times throughout the massage. I hope that clears things up for any other customers who were confused like us about the whacky Facebook page and very mixed reviews on google.

I would give more stars if possible, a fantastic 1hr remedial massage with Yan. It's so good to have a good massage therapist back here again. Don't wait people, I realise that I'm probably going to make it hard for me to get in to them in future now. But they are fantastic.

Edit: 3/3/24 Back again today for another remedial massage, Ive lost count how many times I've been here now. Yan and her team never disappoint, very professional and extremely good. I won't go anywhere else. Good job guys!
