WOW!!! I had the privilege of staying in the new suite with million dollar views. A shame it was only for one night, it was so cosy and relaxing. King size luxuriously comfortable bed with nice, neat amenities. Large balcony to enjoy the incredible sunset. The motel has been updated beautifully with a more modern feel to it. Definately my style!
Would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely stay again.
The only downfall was unfortunately the restaurant downstairs. Although a classy looking place, we opted to stay upstairs and to order in a seafood platter. The platter was not the best and was missing some items, so I had to let them know several times. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our short and sweet stay ❤️

We have stayed here a few times now. The rooms are simple but clean. You are right on the lake edge, with wonderful views. The restaurant onsite is expensive but very nice. The shower pressure is fantastic. Bedding clean and comfortable. It is a nice simple reliable option in this area, very affordable and well located between the lake and the great beaches around.

Had to stay there for night shift work. Left a "I am sleeping" note on the door, but the staff still made himself in ( no anti-theft door chain lock installed) to check the bathroom while I was still on the bed and removed the note then. Very rude and unprofessional.

The room was clean tidy and fresh, and was and updated room, but it had no cabinetry the kettle was on a low wobbly
small table and the kettle water burn my foot. There was a iron available but no iron board.

We arrived half hour early on check in and and we didn't have to wait before long. The staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful.

-Lake Macquarie view (great for photo opportunity)
-Room is clean and presented well.

Bedsheets smelled coffee and asked to get a new set of towels, still the same. Found an old food in the fridge obviously not cleaning the properly. We have stayed in this accommodation twice and we are not coming booking this place again.

Motel is in a good location. We had a room at the back overlooking the water. Rooms are old & tired. Needs fixing up. Bathroom sink tap spout turned to one side, unable to move and make it straight. When the water is turned on, there is a very load noise coming form the tap There was no internet for the 2 nights while we were there. We were informed by the management that it would be fixed, but unfortunately it was not fixed whilst we were there. The back alfresco area facing the water could be a wow factor but all tables & chairs are very old and yukky. Not at all impressive to want to sit and enjoy a drink. Lots of built up water in the car park. We had to get our shoes very wet trying to get to our car as the water laying around was deep. The sunsets are beautiful and ducks are happy to come for a feed. There is a restaurant belonging to the motel and that appeared to be updated. We did not eat at the restaurant due to other commitment's. All in all, it was ok.
