Visited club on way thru town. $60 for a pretty basic carbonara and an almost inedible Thai chicken salad. Expressed disappointment to young waitstaff who didn’t seem that interested anyway.
Club decor and bar staff were very friendly etc.
Food was a big disappointment.

We had dinner here on sunday night. Ordered entrees mains and desert.
The front of house staff are friendly enough.
My cheese platter did not look like the picture at all. The crackers were all broken and in super tiny pieces. The platter did not have much on it as you can view from picture and it was very different to the one i had the saturday previously.
I wanted the eye fillet with chips and salad. I was not allowed to order this. I had to order the eye fillet as it came then order a side of chips and salad with it. I did not like the sauce it came with and would have preffered none. Steak was cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef on that.
For desert i wanted mudcake with just cream. Simple and something i thought would not be an issue but it was. My cake came out with ice cream (i dont like ice cream) and strawberry sauce. Not my taste.
I got the feeling the staff didnt want to ask for any changes with the food and the chefs are not overly flexible when it comes to straying from the menu to suit a fussy eater. I much prefer to spend money at venues that cater to the customer not the staff. Had they done this id be spending my money there more frequently.

Went there for dinner tonight choosing a Sunday again and totally different experience. The pizza was amazing and the sauce for the garlic prawns is delicious and with 8 king sized prawns to accompany it was great value.
Renovations look awesome. Would give 5 stars if kitchen accepted minor changes to meals.

Sadly our Meal on Friday night was a disgrace, 2 meals had to be retuned to the kitchen & than they still weren't correct, but the worst thing was there was a fly under my husbands potato & the after seeing that no of us could eat our meals, but the waitress was called over & when she was shown the fly she said I can't do anything about that, she was politely told to get the Manager. The Manager came over & she said the waiter said she saw the fly land on the plate, that is BS she wasn't even near us & we called her over to the table, honestly did she need to lie. My husband was given the option to have another meals but we declined as that was his second meal. The Manager did refund his meal cost. But sadly we were all done as we couldn't have our meals after that.
