My room did not have a rubbish bin inside or outside of the room so I had food rubbish piling up.
Above the kids bed was a huge wasp nest on the picture clearly can be seen by cleaners.we knocked down.back of the head boards were so dirty.bathroom door never closed.tv remote had no buttons thought I was going to get schocked

Nice spacious room, reception was kind and friendly to deal with as well. Grounds are nice and well kept as well. Was concerned with being on the highway that there would be noise and disturbance, but the Great western is set back off the highway a far way and it was a peaceful stay.

Went to the restaurant for the first time, and the waitress was absolutely wonderful, food was delicious and wasn't a long wait. My partner and I went for a date night and we got amazing drink recommendations, atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. No awkward feeling when sitting at our table even when the restaurant only had a few people. 10/10 can't wait to go again

I went to the restaurant with friends for dinner. Steaks are first class. Fresh vegetables were delicious. The only negative is that the restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Arrived and greeted by a lovely lady.|The pool was great and after a big day it was a welcome sight.|From there, it became a disappointment. |The room was good but very dusty on skirting boards, on the bed head, on the cabinet beside the bed, on the top of wardrobe, on the light,food splatter in microwave, food behind the microwave, fly screen not attached to the door so could not leave open to get a fresh breeze.|The shower was small, and I had to continuously watch the toilet as the water kept flowing till ypu went back in to push the button again, dust and bugs in the light in the bathroom.|I brought by this up with the owners whose response was " that should be expected, it is dusty."|Yes, you can expect a bit of dustbut when you have a card stating that you has been cleaned and serviced and all doors are closed, then it should be clean. Also stated that they are starting to do deep cleans/bond cleans so it will be better next time.|I showed her the clothes I had cleqning cloths covered in dust with and pictures i took of my concerns and very little interest or care for any issues.|She also stated that she had heaps of cards stating how good rooms are, my only thought is it must be the ones th at have had the deep cleans.|Also, if you are a light sleeper, probably not the place to stay as the train goes through at 430 in the morning and sounds like it's horn and the contract workers leave at 5 am.

We stayed here just for one night, about a week ago. The hotel itself is homely (we got a somewhat old fashioned room, but it was very clean, functional, had a Google TV, a modern air conditioning system and a very comfortable bed). The bathroom could do with an update, though. Having courtains in the shower allows water to go everywhere.
We had dinner at the restaurant. Such a lovely place. Excellent service, delicious meals and very generous portions. We'll definitely stay here again.

I often use Chinchilla Great Western Motor Inn as it is quiet, the rooms are set back from the road and there is plenty of parking if friends drop by. It is clean and tidy and they are in the process of doing up all the rooms. The beds and pillows are comfortable. I will continue to use this motel in Chinchilla as it is also good value for the money.
