Loved the new renovations! The outdoor space is fantastic! Definitely catering towards being a family friendly pub venue, and I am so happy it is. Brilliant local for the area as we don’t have much else. The pizza’s were great, simplistic but really enjoyable.
Wonderful fenced playground. There is a carousel but only operates on certain days at certain times.
The cocktails were well made and yummy too. Someone complained about the prices but they are very much standard pub prices. I remember the prices being about the same before the renovations.
Great neighbourhood hangout. Happy to see its wonderful return with family clientele in mind

(1st experience) Beautifully renovated, but the increased capacity of patrons and pressure on staff meant that at a busy time, food took well over the wait time (60 minutes) and was quite underwhelming upon arrival. Perhaps the increased prices of food and drinks would be easier to swallow if quality was delivered and we could enjoy our meals. A staff member present in the playground may be useful, as a couple of children became quite unruly and destructive without active parent supervision. Playground is impressive however and the kids had a ball. Hats off to staff who did their best, though they were under considerable pressure dealing with a number of patrons expressing their dissatisfaction (from our observations).

We’ve since visited a second time and our experience was extraordinarily different. More staff, meals quicker, more accurate wait time and only took about 25 mins for food this time. impressed! Glad we gave it another shot. Staff were happy, helpful and less stressed and this energy made for a much nicer experience. All wonderful despite being at full capacity. We had to park down the road a little, but we don’t mind getting our steps in.

LOVE the beautiful outdoor renovation and kids play area. My chicken schnitzel was juicy and tender… our party of 4 all enjoyed our meals. The staff were extraordinary in service and friendliness - from the person greeting us at the door, to the person clearing the table. So impressed. With the amount of competition out there now, its nice that customers are treated like we’re valued.

Came to check out the renovation was blown away! I had a steak and my husband had the steak sandwich, honestly was the best pub meal we have had in awhile kudos to the chef that made the mushroom sauce. Also all the staff were super friendly but shout out to Elliot and James they really went the extra mile.

We enjoyed a delicious meal, and the service was prompt and attentive. A great spot for a relaxed dining experience—I’ll definitely be back!

Nicely renovated and a great place to take your family. Food was prompt and tasted good. However, I do not recommend going in the afternoon between 4-530pm as they open the outdoor roof and expose the sun. This meant we were burning in the sun with the kids, and management didn't bother to consider the young families who were all hot and burning. Slightly obscure to open the roof when the sun is still blasting on a hot day?
If going, please request a seat in the shade or indoors. After advising the staff of the problem, it took them 10mins to finally listen and move us to another table (lucky it wasn't too busy).

We attended the EP on Friday night for Valentine’s Day we were so excited to visit the EP new renovations as previously it was so ordinary, run down, boring menu and expensive for what we got.
On arrival they helped us as I made a mistake with my booking I was very grateful.
We were seated inside as we wanted unfortunately apart from new paint and carpets it was exactly the same. We thought they could have opened up the inside area to flow outside.
The outside area looks amazing much better.
The menu still much the same not many steaks choices.
We ordered our meal around 7.15-7.30 pm and received it at 8.56 pm I took a photo of my watch.
The people around us were complaining that their meals were late as well.
We meet a friend her booking 5.45 pm as their grandkids with them and their meal was an hour.
After complaining we were offered free drinks I would have preferred my meal. I had not had anything since lunch.
A young g girl came up and advised that they were not officially open and they were not prepared. We were given our money back.
As I explained to her it was a disappointment as the locals were excited about the upgrade to the EP long overdue.
Why open?
Why take bookings?
On Valentine’s Day?
We won’t be going back yet again the EP is a disappointment.
We need good restaurants and pubs in our area.

I used to come here as a young child but the new renovation ruined it. The playground was sentimental and nostalgic and they ruined it by putting in a average one. They replaced all of the free games in the arcade with pay to play games which cost 2 dollars each. They also removed the nostalgic shoe hubbies and water fountain.
