Rooms have everything you need for a stay, they are not serviced daily but there is someone on sight if you have real issues. Location is great and the private jetty is a deal clincher as the only ramp can be flat out most of the day. Plenty of fishing for all tastes. Will stay again for sure.

Perfect location as a base to fish Hinchinbrook Passage, the outer reefs or cruise the Palm Islands. There is private jetty with a capacity of 4 (5 metre boats) to keep your boat in the water. Enough room on site to keep car and boat trailer.

Had one of the most disgusting and professionally poor encounter I've ever experienced with these people!||||After a huge night/morning fishing the Lucinda Jetty myself, my partner and my 3 children decided we'd book in a room with Lucinda fishing lodge for some much needed R&R. Upon ringing the hotel we were told rooms were unavailable for booking for one night so we'd have to book for two at $183 per night. We agreed that two nights would be fine as the standard procedure around lucinda seemed to be the same everywhere and rooms were extremely scarce in the township Itself. We were informed to finalize this booking we would have to pay the first night ($183) over the phone by card and the remaining $183 was to be paid upon checking in (as my internet banking had been playing up all morning i asked if i was able to pay the remaining $183 in cash) - this was all fine and went through. As we were extremely hot, tired and in desperate need of a shower we asked if an early check-in would be ok, The hotel said 11pm would be fine as opposed to 2pm. VERY GOOD!! WRONG!!!.||||Upon arrival to Dungeness boat ramp the usual convenience stores ATM was out of order, As we didnt want to be late for check in and risk our room booking being canclled we decided it would be best to head into reception explain and ask if check in would still be ok? We also explained as soon as we left the office we would go and withdraw the remaining balance ($183 for the second night). We were told no and that the cash was needed upon check in - again this is fine and understandable so we headed to the nearest atm (Lucinda Pub) This was an approximate 10 minute round trip - But upon arriving back at the Lucinda fishing lodge reception with money in hand we were told that within that 10 minute period our room had been given to someone else (DESPITE US ALREADY HAVING PAID AN $183 DEPOSIT FOR THE FIRST NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION) And that There were no longer any rooms available at the hotel and they had taken it upon themselves to refund the $183 that had already been paid (that refund is still pending by the way was no immediate help to us what so ever) The managment of this hotel was extremely rude and didnt offer us any apologies or help finding another room to stay in except for spouting off a couple of other hotels to try in the area which I'd ALREADY looked into and knew were fully booked. When I asked management why they would cancel our booking the response was "we saw you driving away we thought you were leaving" (ridiculous response they were told we were goin to get the money withdrawn for them) I asked if they thought to make a phone call as they have my number provided to verify my apparent leaving with me and was met with blank stares! They were not sympathetic or apologetic in the slightest and made no effort to help or rectify the situation. I left that reception office in tears! Myself and my 3 children were then forced to spend the next 3 hours driving around walking into hotel receptions/checking booking sites/ making phone calls trying to find accommodation to no avail and eventually found accommodation 1 and a half hours away in an entirely different township! Thanks lucinda fishing lodge that was the most unethical and disgusting display I have ever seen and intend to make sure I leave this review on as many sites as humanly possible.

It was my first time at Lucinda fishing lodge and its a great place to stay when you've spent all day on the water fishing.
The local pubs are great for your basics and a takeaway meal but for anything you may need but if they dont have what you need Halifax and Ingham shops is a short drive.

Its only a short drive from Townsville but it seems like another world away.

Would definitely recommend a stay as me and my family like alot of other families that stay there are returning each year as a tradition.

We have just spent the Easter weekend in one of the motel rooms. We found the room extremely spacious and comfortable and the little deck outside awesome, beautiful views! The pool was great and the staff were fantastic. My hubby went to war with the bait knife lol and even though it was over the Easter break they happily opened up the shop and gathered up anything and everything they could find to help us. He also refused payment and was just happy to help. We will be back!

Wow! What an amazing spot! The fishing lodge was ideal accommodation for our family of 4. Being able to leave the boat in the water was a game changer. All the staff are super friendly and very accommodating. The bait and tackle shop has everything you need and all at great prices. Great spot, we will be back for sure!

Stayed here with the family for a week in one of the bungalows and had a great time. Great facilities and pool. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks for fixing one of the skids on the trailer. Legendary. Can't wait to return.
