Amazing boutique and very original setup! All you could ask for and then some… staff go over and beyond! Feels very safe and secure as solo travellers this is important. Would most definitely return and highly recommend…. Great value!

Excellent value in the Airlie Beach area. We loved the more secluded location because it was much quieter and easier to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. They also do a great job of operating their shuttle bus so that you can easily get to and from the resort and you're never stranded in Airlie Beach. The room was cute and having our own deck was lovely. Northerlies was also great -- a beach bar vibe but with better food (I would recommend the octopus salad).

After arriving home this arvo, I pondered my 5 day- sojourn @ Freedom Shores. This resort (plus the fabulous staff) is paradise! Staff could not be more welcoming, lovely or courteous. Genuine, helpful and kind. Smiles all round. Happy to be there and pleased to see smiling guests!! I'm hoping to return for my birthday next year - will have something to REALLY look forward to, its a special birthday and I'm desirous to celebrate with my new friends at FREEDOM SHORES and NORTHERLIES RESTAURANT. Likewise, the staff and services at Northerlies Restaurant are of the same high calibre. Professional, service oriented and nothing is too much trouble. Loved, loved, loved the lamb kofta Xxx

Staying at Freedom Shores was a slice of heaven. Friendly and attentive staff, very clean room, comfortable bed, stunning grounds and views, 24 hr pool, scrumptious continental breakfast each morning which you could take back to your room if you wanted to eat on your private deck, mini bar, restaurant only a short stroll down the path for delicious food and cocktails. Courtesy shuttle bus was super handy getting to and from town, and it's easy to book online. Really lovely bus drivers too. I absolutely loved it here, I'm so glad I found this place. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful location with a nice pool and an awesome sea view. Unfortunately a lot of nails are sticking out on the deck of the little boat appartements which might hurt you pretty bad when walking barefoot. Breakfest is pretty basic with a small choice of fruit, yoghurt, muesli, toast and 3 different jams. Would have loved to get some scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages...

Perfect for a getaway, quiet and private with stunning ocean views. Breakfast food are fresh, restaurant nearby has verities of food options, we tried 7 meals about 15 dishes during our stay, all high quality. The only thing bothered me was the loud bass sound from restaurant hit through the cabin we stay in and made it a bit annoying, but if you are not as hearing sensitive you would be fine, plus the bird and ocean sounds are beautiful.
