What a lovely hotel , beautiful historic building restored by wonderful hosts who love what they do! . Clean and newly renovated rooms and great atmosphere , had delicious hotel meals on offer too ! Nice to relax on top balcony. Will definitely be back next time I’m coming through wondai 🙂

Had a couple of pints and a pizza. Very nice surroundings. Relaxing. We didn't stay in the accommodation but we spoke to a couple of gentlemen who did, and they described it as very acceptable. Recommend.

Top quality dinner. Perfect rump steak cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Also had an unbelievable salmon with lemon butter and creamy mash.

What a cute hidden gem in the lovely South Burnett town of Wondai.
Our ensuited room was exceptionally clean with a large bathroom.
The meals are of a high standard and competitively priced...the front country bar is well stocked and prices are very pleasing indeed, let's not forget the awesome fireplace in the front bar...absolutely a HUGE bonus.
All that said, the lovely caring hosts (Julie and Phil) really put the yummy icing on this extremely well presented boutique country pub...very attentive and caring owners with nothing being too much trouble. They love a good chat and engage with visitors and staff.
All staff are very friendly and highly professional.
Definitely pop in, say hello and have a coldie.
You will be well pleased 😀

Awful experience and will not be returning again. Attended the pub with family members, for the second time round. First time wasn’t great, but wanted to give them grace as they were busy the first time. More food unavailable then available, ran out of steaks after my family, no chicken breast, schnitzel, fish and the list goes on.

Placed and paid for an order only for half of it to come out, and to be told we didn’t order it. Eventually replaced, but delivered with a foul attitude. Toughest steak we have ever had, not kidding.. our jaws were sore after the workout.

Staff were not helpful and rude, experienced by all family members on multiple/seperate occasions. Poor atmosphere, poor service and poor food.

Don’t waste your money or time.

What beautiful old pub. Owners have spared no expence renovating the pub. Beer is cold and food is to die for. Julie the owner is awesome. Call in there, highly recommend it.

Had the pleasure of staying there with my dad. Fabulous conversation, attentive staff. Room was clean, tidy and beautiful. Renovations are fantastic.
Had a delicious lunch of grilled Barramundi, salad and chips. Highly recommended. Will be going back
