I highly recommend this cafe. Food always good and their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled. (The blond hair lady she was very helpful ) making every visit a true pleasure. I’ve dined at Hunter & Scout cafe several times and have never been disappointed. It’s truly a must-visit destination for any food lover.

Great experience and even better food! The atmosphere was very cosy (it was raining the day we went) nice lighting and a great feel to the cafe. I will definitely be coming back for lunch or even breakfast again! Thank you!! I had the corn fritters and they were amazing! Definitely recommend!

Like so many places, the price has gone up while the quality has gone down.

This place has always been busy, with rushed, often not amazing dine-in service. However, they used to make up for it with great brekkies. Now, I wouldn’t say they do.

The last couple of times we have dined in it has been a bit of a let down, and this last visit (take away) was no different.

I understand that costs have gone up for hospo. But at over $70 for two people to have a standard coffee and breakfast, the quality should be high and, sadly, it no longer is.

The portions are small for the price. The three cheese hash is quite bland and doesn’t have the sharp “cheesy” flavour you’d expect. The scrambled eggs were not the smooth, tasty eggs you expect from a cafe, but instead one overcooked piece, more reminiscent of a sad omelette (see photo). The tiny amount of hollandaise sauce didn’t taste good at all. There was no hint of the characteristic lemon flavour and it didn’t taste anything like Hollandaise.

I’m happy to pay a premium price but the food and service need to be reflective.

The one good thing I would say is that the two girls inside at FOH were both lovely (around 11:00am Sat 5th October). Especially the person who served us and brought our coffees out.

Really lovely spot and delicious food! We came on a hot day and they have misters as well as fans which make it quite enjoyable. There are so many plants and an abundance of greenery so makes it a lovely little spot for breakfast. The food was lovely and the staff were super friendly! Will definitely return as the food was so fresh, vibrant and flavourful!

cant believe that this place is not closer to 5! Turned up on a public holiday, no booking, squeezed us in and looked after us like we were royalty. Food was amazing - I had the Hunter and the rest of my crew various sweet and savoury meals from the menu. You will go a long way to find a better breakfast. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and coffee was also top shelf! Can't go wrong here!

The food is good here- I love the chilli baked beans w fried egg 🍳, haloumi and added 🥔 hash browns. The juices are delish too.

My only gripe was that everything was a bit slow to come out.
