Instead of travelling over an hour home and back again the next day when our son was an inpatient at the Brisbane Private Hospital; we decided to stay the night next door at the Madison Tower Mill Hotel. We were able to check in to our room when we arrived at 1pm, we were greeted by a lovely friendly lady and she arranged carparking for us and checked us in. We were given a lovely King room on the 7th floor with a great view overlooking the Roma St Gardens, the city and also had some glimpses of the Brisbane River. The room was spotlessly clean, it was fitted out with all the usual hotel amenities and the king bed was very comfortable. We had a very pleasant night and would highly recommend this hotel to all. Thank you very much, you made a stressful situation very comfortable and enjoyable for us. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the city area. There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and trivia game that was being held on Tuesday night. The host was wonderful!

The actual room is nice enough although had a mouldy smell in it. The Reno's are dodgy and obvious. Just unfinished touches everywhere. The water pressure in the shower is not good. No towels were in my room, i found out after my shower. Bed felt warn and sunken in the middle. It is across from the park where there are lots of trees (its a nice view), home to birds. There was a lot of screeching all through the night.

The room was clean & neat with all that one needed for an overnight stay. Even though the room was small it gave the impression of roominess. The staff were happy and most helpful. The staff in the restaurant are most obliging but the kitchen needs to review their produce. Serving processed foods in today's environment is a no, no. Luckily there are free buses into the city where you can check out a plethora of restaurants & eateries.

The hotel was pleasant and the rooms were adequate for a few days stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when required. The only downside was the noise from the street outside from very early in the morning. If you are lighter sleeper you will most likely be kept awake from early morning.

Stayed here for four nights. The first night was interesting, to say the least. A poor lady locked herself in a laundry shoot room and was screaming and banging on the door to the point she scared my daughter. No one went to help except myself. Even staff who where made aware didn't bother to come up and even look.
Other than this incident, the manager was lovely and even gave us a voucher for a stain in the room that was there when we arrived.
Rooms are ok and cosy. View and balcony are a bonus, but you can hear people in other rooms and slamming doors all night.

We stayed here for one night - we were overall pleasantly surprised by our experience. The room was spacious and had two large balconies with multiple outdoor chairs. The staff member we mainly interacted with was very welcoming and kind. The location was very central, although to our surprise (as first time Brissy visitors) it was quite uphill from Central station. The only downside was that the bathroom walls were paper thin. We could hear whole conversations clearly by the neighbouring room only when in the bathroom. We would still consider returning if we were to be in Brisbane again especially as it was a good value find.
