I visited Soul Massage Spa on Thursday and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The masseuse, an Indian lady, did not provide a proper massage and kept asking about additional services, which I found very unprofessional. I paid for a 45-minute massage, but she didn’t even ask if I needed more pressure or focus on the areas I mentioned. My legs were very sore, and I specifically told her about it, but she didn’t seem to care or address the issue.

If she had provided a proper massage, even if I didn’t opt for the extra services, I had already planned to leave a generous tip to show my appreciation. However, the lack of attention to the massage and the constant upselling were very off-putting. I regret having to give 2 stars, but I feel it’s important to share my honest experience.

Came to this place after calling and confirming what we were after ( 2 people for a normal 1 hour massage) took and uber all the way there only for the ladies to tell us they only do 30 minute massages. Who would have thought it's so bloody hard to get a frigging massage in Brisbane.

Really great massage by Lynda. Even went overtime 10m to focus on getting a particular knot/sore spot out.
Easy to book in on the website too, but also looks like they do walk-ins.

Awful massage. I asked for more pressure and the lady told me I have to pay another $5 if I want more pressure.
The massage was awful and she kept checking her phone, there was no music and I could hear her phone notifications going off constantly.
I left the venue incredibly oily because they don’t offer a hot towel clean properly or even a towel.
Awful avoid if you want a massage.

She came in while I was naked and changing after the massage to demand her $5.
Very uncomfortable.

Exactly what I needed! 🤤 A beautiful and thorough massage. Cherry was the wonderful therapist who took very good care of me and had an extraordinary technique! They have a shower you can use afterwards and was just a very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend 👌

I usually enjoy coming to Soul Massage but last night was a different experience. When I walked, I sat down to wait for my booking when a staff member walked in said hi and then didn’t bother to ask any further questions. I was still waiting when another person came in to see if they could get a massage, I had to then advise the staff member that I was still waiting to go in for my massage. At this point I go into the room to begin and the lady giving me the massage didn’t bother to ask where I wanted to focus/what was sore. At the beginning of the massage I had to ask her to use less pressure instead of her asking me if the pressure was okay. Throughout the massage she didn’t bother to see if the pressure was still okay and she still hadn’t asked where I was sore, I got to a point where I had to advise where I needed more focus. I honestly left feeling like I wasted $85.. this is disappointing when my experience is usually really good when coming here.

Fantastic service! I got a massage from Lynda who was clearly very knowledgeable and got stuck in to old sporting injuries with care and expert techniques. She even worked on them a bit longer to make sure I left feeling much better than when I walked in.

My mother got a massage from Sarah, who did a great job even though my mum was very sore and sensitive. She walked out feeling much better for the sore bits 😁

Not worth it. One of the first questions once I had already paid up front and was ready for the massage was “do I only want a massage” did not ask why I had come in or what I wanted. Was not professional was mostly broad pressure and rubbing, not what I would call a professional massage. Not worth the $85 unless you are going in for the “extra service”. Also was not dressed professionally and was in a dressing gown. Also I have never had a massage before where I felt my personal space was being invaded even after I made it clear I was in for a sore neck.
