Great food. My wife's fussy and had the best oysters she's had in a long time. We got 4 entrees and a desert to share and all were fresh, tasty and well prepared. Service was very good. Restaurant was full and everything was very high quality. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely delicious evening with my hubby. Great service, atmosphere and food! Definitely worth the experience. The seafood platter was very scrumptious and the garlic pizza was the perfect flavour.

I've been told the pizza is good. Well I wasn't expecting this. The moment I closed my eyes I felt the warm winds of Mediterranean sea in Trieste at a beachfront pizzeria. Just like that time travel. If you want a taste of Italy come here.
Well the only thing was the music was a bit depressing for a Saturday night. Nothing against the artist, it was good music for like Sunday.

This restaurant never seems to fail. Nice spot, right on The Strand overlooking the ocean and Magnetic Island. The food is always good. In fact, totally rated! I just ordered an arugula salad and wow, one of the best salads I’ve ever had. But, the chocolate caramel crème brulee is just totally decadent. To die for. Nice!!

Had dinner here. Short walk from our accommodation. Liked the menu so we chose to come here. Had the salad that I can't pronounce with chicken. Hubby had the steak sandwich, which he was impressed with. Quite impressed with our waiter Nick. Very efficient and engaging but not intrusive. If we're ever in Townsville again I'd be a return customer.

Average at best. Very disappointed as we have been here a few times and it's been really good. Not sure whether it was because it was a Saturday night on a long weekend and really busy but it's standard has definitely dropped. Hubby and I decided to go out for a very rare date night so we got a table for two and as soon as we walked up to the table the first thing I noticed was all the bits of a ripped up coaster under the table and the dirty chairs that still had food on them. The waitress looked scared (understand if she's new) but service was terrible. I asked the waitress if there were any specials she just said mmmm no and then awkwardly walked off. The menu is very unexciting and boring. Entree came out super fast in about 15 mins (fish tacos we shared, sorry didn't get a picture as we were starving, they were really nice and fish was really fresh). But the waitress took our plates as hubby had finished but I still had food on my fork about to take my last bite of our entree (my biggest pet hate, so unnecessary and makes people feel unwelcome and rushed and you should wait until everyone at the table is finished). Eager to get rid of the plates from the entree but took over an hour to get our mains. Drinks came out pretty fast but my wine glass was dirty.(I had the Italian Pinot gris and hubby had a beer. Wine was nice so when I went home I googled the bottle so I can buy it myself and to my disgust it's $13 a bottle from Dan's and that's exactly what I paid for my SMALL glass... I understand they have to mark up prices to make a profit but charging $55 for a bottle of $13 wine is atrocious). I had the lamb rump which was dry and overcooked and way too sweet with not enough puree underneath to balance it. The salad was very bland on the side as well with little to no dressing or flavour. Hubby said his gnocchi was ok but I have made him better (compliments to me, but why pay $35 for something I make better at home). Because it took so long for mains to arrive we unfortunately couldn't wait around for dessert as we had to leave to pick up the baby from the sitter. I didn't really hold hope for the dessert anyways if the rest of the evening was anything to go off. The general cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant has gone downhill. Service used to be amazing and now it's terrible. Food used to be worth the price you paid but now feels like a pub with fine dining prices which is a rip off. very disappointed. Don't think we will be returning anytime soon.
