Stopped here based on the good reviews, but was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Egg Benny pie and took one bite. The pastry/casing was rock hard and I am unsure what the white mushy filling was but it wasn’t to my liking. I ate the egg and bacon off top and threw the rest in the bin. Bacon was dry. I think it may have been in the pie warmer for way too long. Not sure if you have a different baker since all the positive reviews. I hope you take this as constructive feedback.

Very friendly staff,
Pastry was thick, buttery and flakey, the way it should be, maybe could have a little Elmore filling but otherwise perfect. Very tasty pie, perfect after a long drive.

Wonderful little country town bakery, one of the best we've ever been to.
Friendly smiling staff, amazing selection of pies, sausage rolls and desserts. We couldn't resist a family quiche to take home as well.
Comfy seating and a lovely atmosphere to dine in.

Delicious pies!
We had some delicious pies for lunch at this country bakery cafe. The pies had a definite home-made feel about them - none of that commercial gristle and gravy. If you order the pepper beef - be warned - it's laced with a generous amount of black pepper! We loved the fresh cream doughnut too. It was much nicer than the usual commercial bakery offering!

Awesome as! I loved the Ned Kelly pie so much I went back for seconds a couple of hours later. Would easily drive 2 hours for another round. Excellent bakery overall.

Main older server here was pretty unpleasant and hostile. No greeting, didn't ask if I wanted any sauce with my pies. Was excited to try this place out since it had such high ratings but pretty disappointed. The pies are pretty average too, nothing to rave about.

Bought a family size quiche. Not sure what we got but I'm guessing from myself being in trade for over 43 years it wasn't what you'd expect for price. Filling was minimal and all on base of quiche with top section all with what I can compare it too .. a mushy scrambled egg
Looked amazing...couldn't eat it...so disappointed

Delicious stop for quick lunch.
My husband is a pie connoisseur and he rated the pepper pie as one of the best he’s eaten. I loved the spinach & cheese roll plus my son wanted another sausage roll because it was so good!
Clean, modern cafe with friendly staff and reasonable prices. We also loved the selection of donuts.
We’ll be back!
