THe room was good but the water in the room was discusting we couldn't shower we couldn't drink the water we couldn't even boil it and drink it it had the most fowl discussing smell wouldn't stay there again which is a shame because the rooms were well worth it the water destroyed an good holiday

Worst park ever. In desperate need of makeover both staff and amenities. Caravan sites a real jumble not large and spacious as advertised. Haven't seen so many arguments with arriving caravans over site allocations before- doesn't seem to be any system all just jammed in everwhere most with no privacy. Amenities supposedly outback quirky should be condemned as in reality they are just old, filthy and run down and to top it off cleaning(of sorts) is only done ocassionally . Too many disappoints to list on our 4 day stay. Have been travelling around Australia for many years and have never written a review before. We are not that fussy but think this place should be condemned do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE!!

We stayed at Bailey Bar on our way out to Quilpie for one night and then on the way back we stayed for another 2 nights.||||We were received with a friendly chat and information on what to eat and directions of the town. The new owners have just taken over the park and trying their best to bring the standards up. They ask for feed back and have a roast lamb on the spit and dessert on selected nights. We stayed in a cabin, but there are plenty of trees in the park and the park amenities with very clean and well presented.||The first cabin we stayed had a spa, and the next trip back we stayed in a smaller cabin with two rooms. I"M sure with their can do attitude they will have many aspects of the park ship shap and well oiled in no time flat.

We stayed 1 Sept 2016 for two nights and it was full both nights which says a lot for the park, the management was very friendly insisted on showing us onto the site and staying until we were in position. The park is mostly grassed and treed with dirt roads and quite tidy the renovated showers are excellent and probably the best we encountered on our 3,000k trip with an open plan which really makes you feel like you are outback. Highly recommend this park.

We rented one of the of pet friendly cabins for a night stop over. The cabin was nice and clean, with a kitchenette for basic cooking. Living area was over crowded. Would have been better to have just the table and chairs or the couch, but using both was impossible. As we travel with 2 large dogs a bit more floor space is always useful. ||Bathroom was a little small too but good hot water and everything you needed was in there. Aircon cooled the room down pretty well once it got going, but was steaming in the cabin when we first arrived. ||Nice location for dog friendly accommodation, as it was right near the racecourse and a little out of the main area of the town.

We stayed one night this week. Lovely friendly staff at reception. They even direct you into your site and make sure that you are positioned correctly.||Bathrooms are a bit older but very clean and the water is hot. ||A couple of different dinner options with camp oven or roast on during the week and weekends. ||Grassy sites for you van. ||Kids enjoyed feeding the chicken and guinea fowl. ||Very friendly ginger cat :)||Well worth the stay.

Booked an Ensuite family cabin (6). at this motel on our trip to Uluru.||Cabin had 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and a separate family room where we put our suitcases||First impressions are always good and the reception staff were friendly and greeted us warmly.||The cabin allowed for parking out the front and had microwave,stove,toaster,kettle, full size fridge,cutlery and crockery.||The bed was nice and had a bathroom and toilet in a separate room.||Lots of grass areas in this caravan park and many friendly people.||Not to be missed is the Friday night stew,damper and Mash with desert of apple pie and custard for $18:00 P/P.||There was also a musician playing during dinner around a large fire which really added to the country atmosphere

We stayed here for 6 weeks, while I was working in Charleville |We were escorted to our spot and assisted to park our van.|Everyone was really friendly and helpful. | Lots of things to participate in such as beef stew and damper three nights a week and lamb on a spit Tuesday nights.also the yabbie races Wednesday nights | The park was busy as tourist season,but everything was always clean and tidy.Lots of nice green grass and shady trees,also a few nice garden beds.|We would definitely stay here again
