Such a great night tour! The two young guys explained everything so so well and did everything with a lot of humour. They did a lot of interaction and letting us express our feelings and thoughts as well! So much fun and great guys

Visited the free exhibit then the 'sun viewing' tour - this tour was amazing and I loved seeing the sun. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and all the staff there were knowledgeable and respectful. I seriously recommend heading here if you're to hit Charleville.

I had a great time at both the sun tour and the nighttime observatory tour, our guides were friendly and knowledgeable and made it a great experience.
I also ended up hiring out the meeting room for a mums and bubs workshop while I was in the area, and it was fantastic! Alex was friendly, supportive and happy to help organise things on short notice. The room was comfy, with easy access to tech and great A/C. It was the coolest venue I’ve ever run a workshop in, and we had a blast 🚀

Visited the free exhibit during the day and booked in to do the night tour. Bird was called in at short notice and gave us an awesome experience. What he admittedly lacked in detail knowledge, he definitely made up for in personality and entertainment. As it was cloudier earlier that evening and the sky cleared just as we arrived, we got to experience both the viewing through the telescope and also in the Planetarium which he had also set up. We will be back 🔙 n the morning for the sun viewing tour.

Night tour viewing the moon and stars was incredible. Viewing through the telescopes was a fantastic experience. The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely our highlight of visiting Charleville and well worth it.

The facilities are well presented. Don't waste your time or money doing the evening show. We went with another couple and thought the experience was a joke. Yes, it was cold but could have been enjoyed more with the offer of hot drinks. The commentary was boring and uninformative. The viewing was uninspiring.

We drove nearly 1000km to see the stars.
All the staff working in the facility was kind and amazing. Especially the guy called Bird was so kind and funny. He taught and showed my son lots of things.
My 10 year old son said he would love to work in Cosmos center with Bird one day.
I was so amazed to see Satan and Blackhole and Moon.
Definitely coming back again in a different season.

The visit to the Cosmos Centre was one of the main reasons that we travelled from Brisbane and we were not disappointed. Quite to the contrary, we had a wonderful experience as a family and were amazed by Saturn and Canopus in particular. The staff were fantastic, informative, accommodating and very knowledgeable. They were so enthusiastic in their work and connection with the cosmos. Their energy and delight were infectious and we felt that we had made genuine connection with them on the evening. Bird was particularly engaging and shared some of his 'mob culture' and story with us to complement the grand design we were watching first hand.
On a pragmatic note, I have high praise for the integrity of the business. We booked a smaller, personal session but the clouds intervened. Alternative arrangements were made for us and the bulk of our admission fees were refunded without any fuss at all. The alternative arrangement was fascinating and well worth the trip, and great value for money. We got to look trough the telescopes and the staff ensured that the viewing was first rate.
Well done to everyone and thank you for a wonderful experience as a family. Congratulations Charleville!!!
