Very clean and very comfortable accommodation we stayed in the self-contained suite after the very flexible and accommodating owners moved us from a hotel room because we were staying longer than one night and really appreciated having a sink. Short walk into town to restaurants, RSL pub cafes Even though it is on the main road, it is very quiet and was a fantastic stay.

A pleasant stay until an hour and a half after we had departed at which point the owner called and with raised voice falsely accused us of stealing a blanket from one of the two rooms we had booked and charged us $250 quoting hotel policy. We will raise a dispute for this transaction but suspect the owner will get away with the dishonesty. If you stay here, take photos of all of the blankets in your room, including those on beds and in wardrobes before you unload your car and after you leave. That may save you from this scam.
We were going to come back to visit another time but we will stay well clear of this place now.

We were not going to stay in Charleville on our road trip, but the opportunity to catch up with a longstanding colleague presented and we found ourselves at this motel.||We took up a room that had been recently refurbished and found a comfortable bed, great pillows and some nice little add-ons. I don’t expect to find an ice machine for thirsts to get ice at any time.. The availability of little things like purchasing bread for toasting (butter in the fridge). The management team were full of good advice and answered my questions with ease.||I understand the new owners have only been there six months, and I look forward to returning on future trips.||One last bit of advice, call direct to book…. If you are like me, you will get a good rate for the accomodation.||BTW, they have cabins (which we looked at and great for families) as well as the rooms.

What a wonderful place to stay. Guy and Maree you are the perfect hosts.. The meet and Greet you put on was fantastic. Let us met our neighbours for the next 4 nights.. having our washing done (Guy you are a machine) and driving us to local events.. just a wonderful experience. The unit was clean and cosy and had all the little touches.. Thanks you two. Hopefully will be back x
