We secured a reservation for twelve guests at the Calamvale Hotel for our Christmas function. The spacious venue comfortably accommodated our large group, offering ample indoor and outdoor seating, which was advantageous given Brisbane's pleasant weather. The $10 per person lunch menu proved satisfactory, even for those with substantial appetites. The staff exhibited exceptional professionalism and efficiency, consistently providing a high level of service throughout the busy holiday season. The dining experience was again exceptional, catering to diverse culinary preferences, whether selecting from the $10 specials or the extensive à la carte menu. We extend our sincere appreciation to the entire staff for contributing to a truly memorable occasion.

Stayed before room was much cleaner and everything fine. This time room was dusty and bathroom unclean on mirror. Iron didn't work and electric jug also. So missed out on a morning cuppa which was dissappinting. Staff just said oh we can buy new ones. Didn't care that we weren't satisfied. Pay good money for these mishaps and let down. Never mind. Function was brilliant with beautiful food and service.

Food was not good at all. Chips were cold and dried up, avocado on the chicken Parma was hot and brown with no Napoletana sauce. There was also rotten lettuce leaves in the salads. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Got a room here last night for $240. It was fricking huge. For the venue the meals were absolutely beautiful and quite reasonably priced. I had nachos last night for $17 and a desert. I can’t remember the name of. They do have room service if you want it which cost extra. That’s fair enough.

Great conference venue. The restaurants and public bar were very tasteful and the decor was fresh and bright. Food options were good.

I particularly liked the menu and cocktails in the public bar. It was low key and a very chilled vibe.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Entrance to the hotel suites was welcoming. Didn’t get the check out the rooms. The entire vibe was great.

Good parking and continently located to main roads.

At a function staff did not know the meals contents. When asked by a guest a simple question said the staff said they didn't know then said no without even checking. It was clearly vegetarian looking at ingredients so what was hidden that wasn't. Was a basil pesto pasta on taste. Not good service could make guests with dietary issues very sick or give them very few choices or little to eat. Not acceptable in this era.

This review is for the restaurant only. Was not greeted at entrance. There was no sign to state if we need to wait to be seated. The waitress, Ivy, saw us and was too busy to attend to us. As a person with a disability, I could not stand and wait so proceeded to seat ourselves. Once seated, I asked her for the menus and her response was " the menus are in the box at the front". The food was decent. Customer service is really important in this industry. Very very poor service.
